كشف مسؤول أمريكي كبير، اليوم (الإثنين)، توقيع الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب ونائبه جي دي فانس ورئيس البرلمان الإيراني محمد قاليباف على مذكرة التفاهم إلكترونياً.
ونقلت وكالة «رويترز» عن المسؤول قوله إن ترمب وفانس وقعا مذكرة التفاهم، وكذلك فعل رئيس البرلمان الإيراني، موضحاً أن الاتفاق ينص على الفتح الفوري لمضيق هرمز ورفع الحصار الأمريكي عن إيران.
وأشار إلى أن حركة المرور في مضيق هرمز ستشهد زيادة ملحوظة بدءاً من الآن، متوقعاً زيادة الحركة بشكل كبير خلال أسبوعين، لكنها ستستغرق وقتاً بسبب الألغام.
وذكر الجيش الأمريكي أن الحصار العسكري للموانئ الإيرانية لا يزال سارياً إلى حين استكمال اتفاق لوقف إطلاق النار مع طهران، المقرر في 19 يونيو.
وشدد الجيش الأمريكي، في مذكرة إرشادية، على أن الحصار العسكري للموانئ الإيرانية لا يزال سارياً ويقيّد حركة جميع السفن الداخلة إلى هذه الموانئ والخارجة منها، موضحاً: «لا تحاولوا العبور حتى صدور توجيهات صريحة».
وتوقع وزير الخارجية الإيراني عباس عراقجي، اليوم (الإثنين)، عقد لقاء في سويسرا (الجمعة) بين رئيسي وفدي التفاوض الإيراني والأمريكي لتوقيع مذكرة التفاهم.
وقال عراقجي: «بعد توقيع مذكرة التفاهم مع أمريكا ستُعقد الجولة الأولى من المفاوضات، ونخطط لمسار المفاوضات وتنفيذ الاتفاق على أساس انعدام الثقة بسبب إخلال أمريكا سابقاً بالالتزامات». وأضاف: «أنجزنا مذكرة التفاهم وسيُنفذ جزء من بنودها اليوم وسينفذ الباقي بعد التوقيع عليها (الجمعة)».
وأشار إلى أن الاتفاق يتكون من مرحلتين، الأولى مذكرة التفاهم التي وُقعت، والثانية جولة مفاوضات لـ60 يوماً قابلة للتمديد، موضحاً أن الاتفاق النهائي ستُناقش فيه قضايا الملف النووي ورفع العقوبات وقد يتم التوصل لاتفاق بشأنها.
A senior U.S. official revealed today (Monday) that President Donald Trump, Vice President JD Vance, and Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf signed the memorandum of understanding electronically.
The Reuters agency reported the official as saying that Trump and Vance signed the memorandum of understanding, as did the Iranian Parliament Speaker, explaining that the agreement stipulates the immediate opening of the Strait of Hormuz and the lifting of the U.S. blockade on Iran.
He noted that traffic in the Strait of Hormuz will see a significant increase starting now, expecting a substantial rise in movement over the next two weeks, but it will take time due to the mines.
The U.S. military stated that the military blockade of Iranian ports remains in effect until a ceasefire agreement with Tehran is completed, scheduled for June 19.
The U.S. military emphasized in a guidance memo that the military blockade of Iranian ports is still in effect and restricts the movement of all ships entering and exiting these ports, stating: “Do not attempt to cross until explicit instructions are issued.”
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi anticipated today (Monday) a meeting in Switzerland (Friday) between the heads of the Iranian and U.S. negotiating delegations to sign the memorandum of understanding.
Araghchi said: “After signing the memorandum of understanding with the U.S., the first round of negotiations will be held, and we plan the negotiation process and the implementation of the agreement based on a lack of trust due to the U.S. previously breaching its commitments.” He added: “We have completed the memorandum of understanding, and part of its provisions will be implemented today, with the remainder to be executed after it is signed (Friday).”
He pointed out that the agreement consists of two phases: the first is the memorandum of understanding that was signed, and the second is a 60-day negotiation round that can be extended, explaining that the final agreement will discuss issues related to the nuclear file and lifting sanctions, and an agreement may be reached on these matters.
