للصراع حول المنتخب وجه واحد ووجهة واحدة تتكرّر مع أي حضور لنا في أي مناسبة وأي مشاركة، وهذا داء قديم يتجدّد ولا حل له إلّا بزوال الأسباب، وهنا مكمن الصعوبة.

ومثل هذه الرسالة الواعية تلقّفها المعنيون بها بطرح سؤال عن الأهلي والاتحاد لماذا لم يشر لهما الأمير؟ وهذا كما أعتقد هروب من الإجابة أو الاعتراف بها إلى سؤال..!
لا أبرّئ الأهلاويين والاتحاديين، لكن أراهم كما يراهم الأمير أقلّ حدة، وأقلّ ضرراً من صراع جماهير وإعلام قطبي العاصمة حول المنتخب.
قدّم المنتخب ما لا يتوقعه المتشائمون أمام الأوروغواي، وانتزع تعادلاً أراه مكسباً في مستهل مشواره المونديالي مع التأكيد على أن هناك أخطاء تجب معالجتها فيما هو قادم.
دونيس اجتهد في الشوط الأول ولم يوفق في الشوط الثاني في إجراء بعض التعديلات الإيجابية، وهذا أمر طبيعي، لكن غير الطبيعي أن يتكرر أمام إسبانيا.
ثمة شبه رضا عن النتيجة، وعلينا أن نستثمر هذا الرضا إلى رفع المعنويات وشحذ الهمم استعداداً لمباراة إسبانيا التي لا شك أنها الأصعب عطفاً على أهميتها من جهة للمنتخبين ولعدم رضا الإسبانيين على ما قدموه أمام منتخب الرأس الأخضر من جهة أخرى.
