ووصف الرئيس الأرجنتيني ما حدث بأنه “سقوط مهني إلى أدنى مستوى”، مؤكداً أن نشر معلومات غير دقيقة تتعلق بحياة الأشخاص وأسرهم يمثل تجاوزاً أخلاقياً ومهنياً لا يمكن تبريره والسكوت عليه.
وقال ميلي في بيان عبر مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي جاء بلهجة حاسمة وقوية: “من يزعج ميسي يزعجنا جميعاً”، في إشارة إلى تضامنه الكامل مع قائد المنتخب الأرجنتيني ورفضه لأي محاولات قد تؤثر عليه أو على تركيزه خلال البطولة.

ولم يكتف الرئيس الأرجنتيني بانتقاد الواقعة، بل ألمح إلى اعتقاده بأن ما حدث قد لا يكون مجرد خطأ مهني، قائلاً: إن بعض التصرفات تثير الشكوك حول وجود أهداف أخرى وراء نشر مثل هذه الأخبار.

Milei stated in a statement via social media, delivered in a decisive and strong tone: “Whoever disturbs Messi disturbs all of us,” referring to his full solidarity with the Argentine team captain and his rejection of any attempts that may affect him or his focus during the tournament.
He added that possessing a media platform or a microphone does not grant someone the right to publish incorrect information or manipulate the facts, especially when it comes to news that touches the lives of people and their families, emphasizing the importance of accuracy and adherence to professional responsibility before publishing any information.
