في وقتٍ تتصاعد فيه حدة النيران على الجبهة الجنوبية والبقاعية، أطلق الرئيس اللبناني العماد جوزيف عون مواقف حاسمة من قصر بعبدا، أعاد فيها تصويب البوصلة نحو «منطق الدولة» كحام وحيد للبنانيين، بعيداً عن المشاريع الحزبية والطائفية التي لم تجرّ على البلاد سوى الويلات. وجدد عون التأكيد على أن الشعب اللبناني دفع أثماناً باهظة عن غيره ولم يعد ملزماً بالاستمرار في هذا النفق المظلم.
تصعيد إسرائيل خطير ومدان
وخلال استقباله محافظ الجنوب مع وفد اتحاد بلديات صيدا-الزهراني، اليوم (الجمعة)، أكد عون أن “ما نشهده اليوم في الجنوب والبقاع من توسع للاعتداءات الإسرائيلية والمزيد من القتل والتدمير، يشكل تصعيداً خطيراً ومداناً، ويستهدف عمليا كل المحاولات الجارية لتثبيت وقف إطلاق النار وإنهاء الحرب خصوصاً بعد التطورات الأخيرة التي حصلت بين الولايات المتحدة وإيران”.
ورغم هذا التصعيد، شدد الرئيس عون على أن ذلك لن يحول دون العمل على إنجاز وقف شامل لإطلاق النار بأسرع وقت، موضحاً أنه أوصى الوفد اللبناني المفاوض في الجولة القادمة في واشنطن بعدم التساهل في هذه المسألة، لأن وقف النار الشامل هو المدخل للبحث في المواضيع الأخرى وأهمها الانسحاب الإسرائيلي، وانتشار الجيش، وعودة الأسرى.
وفي نقدٍ مبطن ومباشر للمشاريع الخارجية والأجندات التي تُربك الساحة اللبنانية، لفت الرئيس إلى أهمية المحافظة على مؤسسات الدولة والجيش، جازماً بأن لا شيء يحمي لبنان إلا الدولة لا الطوائف أو الأحزاب وغيرها، وقد أثبتت التجارب أنها لم تأت إلا بالدمار على لبنان.
رهن الجنوب للأجندة الخارجية
في غضون ذلك، واكبت اللقاءات الدبلوماسية في قصر بعبدا قراءة عميقة للمشهد تكشف واقعاً خطيراً يفسر سرّ الجنون العسكري الإسرائيلي والتصعيد الراهن، حيث تشير المعطيات المتقاطعة إلى تعثرٍ حقيقي وعقبات واجهت توقيع مذكرة التفاهم بين إيران والولايات المتحدة، بعدما لم تصل تطلعات طهران في البازار الدولي إلى المبتغى المطلوب.
وأمام هذا التعثر في الحسابات الإيرانية، سارعت القيادة في طهران إلى الإيعاز لحزب الله في لبنان بضرورة ربط هذا التراجع والجمود في الاتفاق بالتوسع العسكري الإسرائيلي، في محاولة واضحة لتبرير استمرار التصعيد واستخدام جبهة الجنوب اللبناني كـ «ورقة ضغط» ورهينة سياسية لخدمة التفاوض الإيراني، بدلاً من ترك القرار للدولة اللبنانية.
هذا التوظيف الإقليمي للساحة اللبنانية هو ما يفسر محاولات إيران المستمرة لفرض مسارات موازية، في حين يصرّ الرئيس عون على أن الالتزام والانخراط في مسار واشنطن التفاوضي الرسمي عبر مؤسسات الدولة هو السبيل الوحيد لفرض سلطة الشرعية على كامل الأراضي اللبنانية، وإنهاء مأساة الجنوب التي يتخذها البعض وقوداً لمعارك تفاوضية خارجية لا ناقة للبنان فيها ولا جمل.
At a time when the intensity of the fires on the southern and Bekaa fronts is escalating, Lebanese President General Joseph Aoun made decisive statements from Baabda Palace, redirecting the focus towards the “logic of the state” as the sole protector of the Lebanese, away from partisan and sectarian projects that have brought nothing but calamities to the country. Aoun reiterated that the Lebanese people have paid heavy prices for others and are no longer obligated to continue in this dark tunnel.
Israel’s escalation is dangerous and condemned
During his meeting with the Governor of the South along with a delegation from the Saida-Zahrani Municipalities Union today (Friday), Aoun emphasized that “what we are witnessing today in the South and Bekaa of an expansion of Israeli assaults and more killing and destruction constitutes a dangerous and condemned escalation, targeting practically all ongoing attempts to establish a ceasefire and end the war, especially after the recent developments that occurred between the United States and Iran.”
Despite this escalation, President Aoun stressed that it will not prevent efforts to achieve a comprehensive ceasefire as soon as possible, clarifying that he has instructed the Lebanese negotiating delegation in the upcoming round in Washington not to be lenient on this matter, as a comprehensive ceasefire is the gateway to discussing other issues, the most important of which are the Israeli withdrawal, the deployment of the army, and the return of prisoners.
In a direct and implicit critique of external projects and agendas that confuse the Lebanese arena, the President pointed to the importance of preserving state institutions and the army, asserting that nothing protects Lebanon except the state, not sects or parties or others, and experiences have proven that they have only brought destruction to Lebanon.
South under external agendas
Meanwhile, diplomatic meetings at Baabda Palace were accompanied by a deep reading of the scene revealing a dangerous reality that explains the secret behind the Israeli military madness and the current escalation, where intersecting data indicates a real impasse and obstacles faced the signing of a memorandum of understanding between Iran and the United States, after Tehran’s aspirations in the international bazaar did not reach the desired outcome.
In light of this impasse in Iranian calculations, the leadership in Tehran hastened to instruct Hezbollah in Lebanon to link this regression and stagnation in the agreement to the Israeli military expansion, in a clear attempt to justify the continuation of escalation and use the Lebanese southern front as a “pressure card” and a political hostage to serve Iranian negotiations, instead of leaving the decision to the Lebanese state.
This regional employment of the Lebanese arena explains Iran’s ongoing attempts to impose parallel paths, while President Aoun insists that commitment and engagement in the official negotiating track in Washington through state institutions is the only way to impose the authority of legitimacy over all Lebanese territory, and to end the tragedy of the South that some use as fuel for foreign negotiating battles in which Lebanon has no stake.
