كشف نجم منتخب إسبانيا لامين يامال موقفه من المشاركة أمام الأخضر السعودي في المباراة المقررة الأحد القادم، ضمن منافسات الجولة الثانية من دور المجموعات ببطولة كأس العالم 2026، المقررة في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية وكندا والمكسيك.
وكان يامال قد شارك بديلاً في المباراة الأولى لمنتخب إسبانيا بالمونديال ضد الرأس الأخضر، بعد غياب عدة أسابيع عن الملاعب بسبب الإصابة، التي انتهت بتعادل محبط للماتادور دون أهداف، فيما حقق الأخضر تعادلاً ثميناً أمام الأوروغواي بهدف لمثله ضمن منافسات الجولة ذاتها.
يامال: لست جاهزاً لخوض 90 دقيقة
وقال يامال في تصريحات نقلتها صحيفة «سبورت» الإسبانية: «لا يزال الوقت مبكراً جداً لخوض مباراة كاملة، ليس الوقت المناسب، لكن يمكنني اللعب أساسياً ولعدد الدقائق التي يريدها المدرب».
وأضاف: «أشعر أنني بحالة جيدة جداً وأنا متحمس، لقد غبت عن الملاعب لفترة طويلة، لكنني أشعر بحالة رائعة وأتعامل مع الأمر بهدوء، إنه ليس بالأمر الجديد عليّ، أعرف من أنا، في إسبانيا وخارجها، وما عليّ فعله هو بذل قصارى جهدي».
يامال يخفف الضغط بعد البداية المتعثرة
وتابع: «من الأفضل المضي قدماً، كانت هناك ضجة كبيرة حول التعادل أمام الرأس الأخضر، لكن بالنسبة لي الفوز في المباراة الأولى لا قيمة له، المهم هو اكتساب الخبرة، وعلينا الفوز يوم الأحد».
ميسي الأفضل في التاريخ
وبسؤاله عن هاتريك قائد الأرجنتين ليونيل ميسي في مرمى الجزائر، أجاب: «في كل مباراة يخوضها ميسي يثبت أنه الأفضل في التاريخ، قدوتي هو نيمار من حيث أسلوب اللعب، لكن ميسي هو الأفضل في التاريخ».
Spain’s national team star Lamine Yamal revealed his stance on participating against the Saudi Green in the match scheduled for next Sunday, as part of the second round of the group stage in the 2026 World Cup, which will take place in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
Yamal had come on as a substitute in Spain’s first match in the World Cup against Cape Verde, after being absent from the pitch for several weeks due to injury, which ended in a disappointing goalless draw for the Matador, while the Green achieved a valuable draw against Uruguay with a score of 1-1 in the same round.
Yamal: I am not ready to play 90 minutes
Yamal said in statements reported by the Spanish newspaper “Sport”: “It is still very early to play a full match, it’s not the right time, but I can play as a starter for the number of minutes the coach wants.”
He added: “I feel very good and I am excited, I have been away from the pitch for a long time, but I feel great and I am handling it calmly, it’s not new to me, I know who I am, in Spain and outside of it, and what I have to do is give my best.”
Yamal eases the pressure after a rocky start
He continued: “It’s better to move forward, there was a lot of fuss about the draw against Cape Verde, but for me, winning the first match is of no value, what matters is gaining experience, and we have to win on Sunday.”
Messi is the best in history
When asked about Argentina’s captain Lionel Messi’s hat-trick against Algeria, he replied: “In every match Messi plays, he proves he is the best in history, my role model is Neymar in terms of playing style, but Messi is the best in history.”
