أبدى المهاجم الدولي السابق نايف هزازي تفاؤله بقدرة لاعبي المنتخب السعودي على تحقيق الانتصار أمام منتخب إسبانيا في المباراة الثانية بكأس العالم 2026، مؤكداً أن لاعبي الأخضر يدركون أهمية المواجهة ضد المنتخب الإسباني الذي يعتبر من المنتخبات الكبيرة والمرشحة للفوز بكأس العالم الحالية.
وتمنى الهزازي من المدرب دونيس اللعب بأسلوب فني مناسب أمام المنتخب الإسباني، من أجل تحقيق نتيجة إيجابية تساهم في مواصلة الأخضر مشواره في المونديال الحالي، والمنافسة على التأهل لدور الـ32 في كأس العالم.
وأكد هزازي لـ«عكاظ» أن مباراة المنتخب السعودي أمام نظيره الإسباني صعبة، ولكن لا يوجد شيء مستحيل في كرة القدم، مبيناً أن «نجوم الأخضر قادرون على تحقيق نتيجة إيجابية بالفوز أو التعادل، وتبقى ثقتنا فيهم لا حدود لها، والأهم الظهور بشكل فني يؤكد تطور الكرة السعودية».
