أوصد الحوثي كل أبواب الرحمة على نفسه. فقد بذلت السعودية جهوداً لا يمكن إنكارها ولا نسيانها للتوسط بينه وبقية المكونات السياسية اليمنية، ليستقيم نظام يمكنهم أن يتعايشوا فيه بسلامٍ وتوادٍّ وشراكةٍ حقيقيةٍ. لكنه تحت وطأة انتشائه بالقوة التي تموّله وتسلّحه لم ير غير التمادي، ورأى أنه بدلاً من انقلابه على الشرعية اليمنية الذي ينحصر في بعض مديريات الشمال اليمني يمكنه أن يزحف جنوباً، ويتمدد غرباً وشرقاً. وزاد انتفاخه كَهِرٍّ ظن نفسه أسداً، خصوصاً بعد تلقيه قطع صنع الصواريخ والمسيّرات، وتزويده بالمدربين الذين علّموه كيف يوظف الذكاء الاصطناعي لتحسين القدرات التصويبية لصواريخه ومسيّراته. فأصبح يتطاول على السعودية ترويعاً للآمنين، واستهدافاً للمنشآت الاقتصادية، والأعيان المدنية؛ فتضاعفت نفخته حتى ظنّ أنه بات بمقدوره أن يعلن «حصاراً بحرية» على السعودية، بل أن يسيطر على باب المندب وخليج عدن، فيصبح اقتصاد العالم كله تحت رحمته، فلا تمر ناقلة إلا إذا أذِن لها بالمرور. وبعدما كان يحرِّم عبور السفن المتجهة إلى إسرائيل أصبحت السعودية هدفه الأوحد.. معتقداً أنها «هيّنة وليّنة»، وأنها وحدها بلا حلفاء، ولا شركاء، ولا أصدقاء. وهو قطعاً لا يعرف أنها تملك من أدوات الدفاع عن نفسها ما يكفي ليدمر انقلابه البائس. وها هو يرى بأم عينيه الخسائر الجسيمة التي يتكبدها كل يوم وليلة، بسبب عناده، وغبائه، ومكابرته.
ولن نأتي بجديد إذا قلنا إنه يفعل ما يفعل من أجل القوة التي تقف وراءه. فهو بحق جندي ضمن جنود المشروع الإيراني، الذي لا يريد الفوز باليمن وحده؛ بل بكل بلدان العالم العربي، سعياً وراء سراب إعادة الإمبراطورية، ووهم الهيمنة على العالم. وهو بحالٍ كهذه لن يكون مرفوضاً من العرب وحدهم، بل مرفوض من الشعب اليمني الحر قبل الآخرين. ولهذا تنادى اليمنيون من كل تيار سياسي وعسكري لتلبية نداء الرئيس رشاد العليمي لـ«فجر اليمن». ووجد الحوثي أنه بعداواته غير المبررة لليمنيين وحّد صفوفهم ضده، فما تركوا جبهة إلا قصدوها، وطردوه منها، واستعادوا منه مواقع لا حصر لها، وأهمها المخا، وباب المندب.
سيبقى الحوثي مصدر إزعاج لليمنيين وللسعودية ودول الخليج الأخرى، لكنه ليس بالإزعاج الكفيل بتغيير الأوضاع. سيكون مجرد ميليشيا تحولت إلى حرب عصابات. ومثل هذا الإزعاج مقدور عليه إلى حين القضاء عليه قضاء مبرماً، تعود به الطمأنينة إلى اليمن وجيرانه، وتؤوب معه الشرعية إلى صنعاء، وتعود معه سلامة الملاحة في البحر الأحمر وباب المندب… تعز في الطريق.. وكذلك الحديدة.. وصنعاء أيضاً… وإن طال النضال.
The Houthis have closed all doors of mercy on themselves. Saudi Arabia has made undeniable and unforgettable efforts to mediate between them and the other Yemeni political components, in order to establish a system where they can coexist in peace, affection, and true partnership. However, under the weight of their intoxication with the power that finances and arms them, they saw nothing but escalation, believing that instead of limiting their coup against the Yemeni legitimacy, which is confined to some districts in northern Yemen, they could advance southward and expand westward and eastward. Their arrogance grew like a cat that thinks itself a lion, especially after receiving missile and drone parts, and being supplied with trainers who taught them how to use artificial intelligence to improve the targeting capabilities of their missiles and drones. They began to threaten Saudi Arabia, terrorizing the safe, and targeting economic facilities and civilian objects; their arrogance multiplied to the extent that they believed they could declare a “naval blockade” on Saudi Arabia, even controlling Bab el-Mandeb and the Gulf of Aden, putting the entire world economy at their mercy, allowing ships to pass only if they granted permission. After previously prohibiting the passage of ships heading to Israel, Saudi Arabia became their sole target… believing it to be “weak and pliable,” and that it stood alone without allies, partners, or friends. They certainly do not realize that it possesses enough defensive tools to destroy their miserable coup. And now they see with their own eyes the immense losses they suffer every day and night, due to their stubbornness, ignorance, and arrogance.
We will not say anything new if we state that they do what they do for the power that stands behind them. They are indeed a soldier among the soldiers of the Iranian project, which does not seek to win Yemen alone; rather, it aims for all Arab countries, in pursuit of the mirage of restoring the empire and the illusion of global dominance. In such a situation, they will not be rejected only by the Arabs, but also by the free Yemeni people before anyone else. This is why Yemenis from every political and military faction responded to President Rashad Alimi’s call for the “Dawn of Yemen.” The Houthis found that their unjustified enmity towards Yemenis united their ranks against them, as they did not leave a front untouched, driving them out and reclaiming countless positions from them, the most important of which are Al-Mokha and Bab el-Mandeb.
The Houthis will remain a source of annoyance for Yemenis, Saudi Arabia, and other Gulf states, but it is not the kind of annoyance that can change the situation. They will merely be a militia that has turned into a gang war. Such annoyance is manageable until they are completely eliminated, restoring peace to Yemen and its neighbors, returning legitimacy to Sana’a, and ensuring the safety of navigation in the Red Sea and Bab el-Mandeb… Taiz is on the way… as well as Al-Hudaydah… and Sana’a too… even if the struggle is prolonged.
