رغم إدانات دول وشعوب العالم للأعمال الإرهابية التي ترتكبها المليشيات الحوثية باستهداف الحرمين الشريفين والأعيان المدنية في بعض مناطق المملكة، بما في ذلك مطارات ومساجد ومدارس ومستشفيات، ووفاة وإصابة عدد من المواطنين والمقيمين، إلا أن السعودية لم تقابل أعمال الحوثيين بالمثل، بل تحرص على عدم استهداف المدنيين والأعيان المدنية في المناطق التي لا تزال تحت سيطرة المليشيات الحوثية.
يأتي هذا الحرص من السعودية على الشعب اليمني والمحافظة على مقدّراته من منطلق العلاقات الأخوية والجوار والمصير المشترك والآمال والتطلعات الواحدة، بعيداً عن المليشيات الحوثية واستغلالها لمعاناة من لا يزالون تحت سيطرتها دون مراعاة لظروفهم.
وينظر المجتمع الدولي إلى صبر السعودية وحرصها على الشعب اليمني ومقدّراته بنوع من التقدير، وهو يدرك أن السعودية قادرة وفي غضون ساعات على تدمير الأعيان المدنية في جميع المحافظات، لكنها لم تفعل ذلك باعتبارها دولة تقود العالم الإسلامي وتراعي حقوق الأبرياء في اليمن، وتلتزم بالمعايير والمواثيق الدولية.
تبقى السعودية العون والسند الحقيقي للشعب اليمني، وفي كل الظروف حريصة على أن ينعم بالأمن والأمان والاستقرار، وأن يعيش حياة كريمة دون الحاجة للآخرين، مثل شعوب العالم التي تعيش بعيداً عن الحروب والصراعات.
Despite the condemnations from countries and peoples around the world regarding the terrorist acts committed by the Houthi militias targeting the holy sites and civilian facilities in some areas of the Kingdom, including airports, mosques, schools, and hospitals, as well as the death and injury of a number of citizens and residents, Saudi Arabia has not responded to the actions of the Houthis in kind. Instead, it is keen to avoid targeting civilians and civilian facilities in areas still under the control of the Houthi militias.
This commitment from Saudi Arabia to the Yemeni people and the preservation of their resources stems from the principles of brotherhood, neighborhood, shared destiny, and common hopes and aspirations, distancing itself from the Houthi militias and their exploitation of the suffering of those still under their control, without regard for their circumstances.
The international community views Saudi Arabia’s patience and its concern for the Yemeni people and their resources with a degree of appreciation, recognizing that Saudi Arabia is capable of destroying civilian facilities in all provinces within hours, but it has refrained from doing so as a country leading the Islamic world, respecting the rights of innocents in Yemen, and adhering to international standards and treaties.
Saudi Arabia remains the true support and aid for the Yemeni people, and under all circumstances, it is keen for them to enjoy security, safety, and stability, and to live a dignified life without needing others, like the peoples of the world who live far from wars and conflicts.
