عادت النجمة الكولومبية شاكيرا إلى واجهة الأخبار خارج المسارح، بعدما وضعتها تقارير إعلامية إسبانية في دائرة علاقة عاطفية محتملة مع سيرج إيباكا، لاعب كرة السلة السابق في ريال مدريد والمتوج سابقا بلقب دوري المحترفين الأمريكي NBA، في أنباء أعادت اسمها إلى واجهة الاهتمام الإعلامي بعد انفصالها عن نجم برشلونة السابق جيرارد بيكيه.
وبحسب ما نقله الصحافي الإسباني جوردي مارتن، فإن شاكيرا وإيباكا تقاربا خلال الفترة الماضية، مستنداً إلى ظهوره المتكرر في حفلات المغنية الكولومبية، إلى جانب تقارير عن سفرهما معاً من مدريد إلى باريس على متن طائرة خاصة، خلال فترة توقف بين حفلات جولتها العالمية. ولم يصدر عن الطرفين أي تأكيد رسمي بشأن طبيعة العلاقة، ما يجعل الأنباء المتداولة في إطار التكهنات الإعلامية حتى الآن.
ولفت إيباكا الأنظار بحضوره حفلات شاكيرا في مدريد، كما سبق أن حضر إحدى حفلاتها في نيويورك خلال يوليو الماضي، ونشر صوراً من الأمسية عبر حسابه على منصة «إنستغرام»، مرفقاً إياها بتعليق أشاد فيه بالعرض.
ولا يقتصر حضور إيباكا في القصة على ظهوره إلى جوار النجمة الكولومبية، إذ يمتلك مسيرة بارزة في كرة السلة العالمية. فاللاعب، المولود في برازافيل بالكونغو عام 1989، خاض تجربة امتدت 14 موسماً في دوري NBA، وارتدى خلالها قمصان أندية عدة، أبرزها أوكلاهوما سيتي ثاندر وتورونتو رابتورز، الذي تُوّج معه بلقب الدوري في موسم 2018-2019، إضافة إلى أورلاندو ماجيك ولوس أنجلوس كليبرز.
وعاد إيباكا إلى ريال مدريد في صيف 2024، بعد تجربة مع بايرن ميونيخ الألماني، ليخوض موسماً جديداً مع الفريق الإسباني، قبل أن يعلن النادي في يوليو 2025 نهاية مشواره معه عقب التتويج بلقب الدوري. وسبق للاعب أن مثّل ريال مدريد لفترة قصيرة في موسم 2011-2012، كما عُرف بقدراته الدفاعية، وتصدر قائمة أفضل اللاعبين في التصدي للتسديدات في NBA خلال موسمين متتاليين.
وعلى الصعيد الدولي، مثّل إيباكا المنتخب الإسباني، وتُوّج معه بذهبية بطولة أوروبا عام 2011، قبل إحراز فضية أولمبياد لندن 2012، ليجمع بين التجربة الاحترافية في الولايات المتحدة والإنجازات مع المنتخب الأوروبي.
The Colombian star Shakira has returned to the headlines outside of the theaters, after Spanish media reports placed her in the circle of a potential romantic relationship with Serge Ibaka, the former basketball player of Real Madrid and a former NBA champion, in news that has brought her name back into the media spotlight following her separation from former Barcelona star Gerard Piqué.
According to Spanish journalist Jordi Martin, Shakira and Ibaka have grown closer in recent times, based on his repeated appearances at the Colombian singer’s concerts, along with reports of their travel together from Madrid to Paris on a private jet during a break between her world tour concerts. Neither party has issued any official confirmation regarding the nature of their relationship, which keeps the circulating news within the realm of media speculation for now.
Ibaka caught attention with his presence at Shakira’s concerts in Madrid, and he had previously attended one of her shows in New York last July, posting pictures from the evening on his Instagram account, accompanied by a caption praising the performance.
Ibaka’s involvement in the story is not limited to his appearances alongside the Colombian star, as he has a distinguished career in global basketball. The player, born in Brazzaville, Congo in 1989, had a 14-season stint in the NBA, during which he wore the jerseys of several teams, most notably the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Toronto Raptors, with whom he won the championship in the 2018-2019 season, in addition to the Orlando Magic and the Los Angeles Clippers.
Ibaka returned to Real Madrid in the summer of 2024, after a stint with Bayern Munich in Germany, to embark on a new season with the Spanish team, before the club announced in July 2025 the end of his journey with them following the championship win. The player had previously represented Real Madrid for a brief period in the 2011-2012 season and was known for his defensive skills, topping the list of the best players in blocking shots in the NBA for two consecutive seasons.
On the international stage, Ibaka represented the Spanish national team and won a gold medal at the European Championship in 2011, before securing a silver medal at the London 2012 Olympics, thus combining his professional experience in the United States with achievements with the European team.
