نبّه المركز الوطني للأرصاد في تقريره اليوم، من هطول أمطار غزيرة على محافظات الليث والجموم وأضم بمنطقة مكة المكرمة، مصحوبة برياح شديدة السرعة وشبه انعدام في مدى الرؤية الأفقية، إلى جانب تساقط البرد وجريان السيول وصواعق رعدية، في حالة جوية متقدمة تستدعي الحيطة والحذر.
وأشار المركز إلى أن المعطيات المناخية تشير إلى نشاط كبير في السحب الركامية، ما يرفع احتمالية تشكل السيول وارتفاع منسوب المياه في الأودية والشعاب، داعيًا الأهالي إلى الابتعاد عن مجاري السيول ومناطق تجمع المياه، والالتزام بتعليمات الجهات المختصة حفاظًا على السلامة.
وأوضح المركز أن الحالة المطرية تستمر -بمشيئة الله- حتى الساعة التاسعة مساءً، مع متابعة مستمرة للتطورات الجوية وتحديثات الحالة على مدار اليوم.
The National Center of Meteorology warned in its report today of heavy rainfall in the provinces of Al-Lith, Al-Jamoum, and Al-‘Udhm in the Makkah region, accompanied by strong winds and near-zero horizontal visibility, as well as hail, flash floods, and thunderstorms, in an advanced weather situation that requires caution and vigilance.
The center indicated that climatic data shows significant activity in cumulonimbus clouds, which increases the likelihood of flash floods and rising water levels in valleys and dry riverbeds, urging residents to stay away from flood channels and areas where water accumulates, and to adhere to the instructions of the relevant authorities for safety.
The center clarified that the rainy conditions will continue -God willing- until 9 PM, with continuous monitoring of weather developments and updates throughout the day.
