يمرّ الوطن أحياناً بظروف تتطلب من الجميع أن يكونوا على قدر المسؤولية، وأن يدركوا أن المحافظة على أمنه واستقراره ليست مسؤولية جهة بعينها، بل واجب يشترك فيه كل مواطن، كلٌّ من موقعه.
والمملكة العربية السعودية، بما تمثله من مكانة وثقل، وما حققته من مكتسبات، تواجه تحديات تفرض علينا مزيداً من الوعي والتماسك والوقوف صفاً واحداً خلف قيادتنا، بعيداً عن الانفعال أو الانسياق وراء ما يُنشر أو يُتداول دون تثبت.
إن ما تتعرض له المنشآت المدنية والمرافق الحيوية من اعتداءات أمر يستوجب الإدانة، ويؤكد أهمية التضامن بين الدول الشقيقة والصديقة، والتعاون في كل ما من شأنه حماية الأمن والاستقرار وصون سيادة الدول.
وفي مثل هذه الظروف تبرز مسؤولية المواطن في الالتزام بالتعليمات الرسمية، والتحقق من الأخبار قبل تداولها، وعدم الإسهام في نشر الشائعات أو المعلومات المضللة. فالكلمة مسؤولية، وقد يكون تداول معلومة غير صحيحة سبباً في إثارة القلق أو الإضرار بالمصلحة العامة، دون أن يدرك ناشرها عواقب ما فعل.
والولاء للوطن لا يحتاج إلى كثرة الشعارات، بل يظهر في المواقف الصادقة، والالتزام بالواجب، والثقة بمؤسسات الدولة، والمحافظة على مكتسبات الوطن. فالأمن والاستقرار نعمة لا تُقدّر حق قدرها إلا حين ندرك ما يتطلبه الحفاظ عليها من وعي وتكاتف ومسؤولية.
لقد عُرفت المملكة، عبر مسيرتها، بوحدة صفها وتلاحم قيادتها وشعبها، وكان هذا التلاحم أحد أهم أسباب قوتها وقدرتها على تجاوز التحديات. ومن واجبنا اليوم أن نحافظ على هذه الروح، وأن ننقلها إلى أبنائنا والأجيال القادمة سلوكاً وممارسة، لا مجرد كلمات تُقال.
حفظ الله المملكة العربية السعودية، وأدام عليها نعمة الأمن والاستقرار، وحفظ خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود، وولي العهد الأمير محمد بن سلمان.

The homeland sometimes goes through circumstances that require everyone to be responsible and to realize that maintaining its security and stability is not the responsibility of a specific entity, but rather a duty shared by every citizen, each from their own position.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with its significant status and weight, and the achievements it has made, faces challenges that impose on us a greater awareness, cohesion, and standing united behind our leadership, away from emotional reactions or being swayed by what is published or circulated without verification.
What civil facilities and vital services are subjected to in terms of attacks is something that warrants condemnation and emphasizes the importance of solidarity among brotherly and friendly countries, and cooperation in all that serves to protect security and stability and uphold the sovereignty of nations.
In such circumstances, the responsibility of the citizen emerges in adhering to official instructions, verifying news before circulating it, and not contributing to the spread of rumors or misleading information. Words carry responsibility, and circulating incorrect information can cause anxiety or harm the public interest, without the publisher realizing the consequences of their actions.
Loyalty to the homeland does not require many slogans; rather, it is demonstrated in sincere positions, commitment to duty, trust in state institutions, and preserving the nation’s achievements. Security and stability are blessings that are not truly appreciated until we realize what maintaining them requires in terms of awareness, solidarity, and responsibility.
The Kingdom has been known, throughout its journey, for the unity of its ranks and the cohesion of its leadership and people, and this cohesion has been one of the most important reasons for its strength and ability to overcome challenges. It is our duty today to preserve this spirit and to pass it on to our children and future generations as behavior and practice, not just words spoken.
May God protect the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and sustain its blessings of security and stability, and safeguard the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
And I would like to conclude my article with the first verse of the wonderful poem by Fahid bin Dahim:
Najd is mocking Abu Turki, and our sheikh took it
