The Portuguese coach Pedro Emanuel Gomes of Al-Khaleej emphasized the necessity of handling the pressure of matches intelligently, confirming that the short recovery period requires preparing the team according to the physical readiness of the players.
Gomes said in the press conference ahead of the match against Al-Fateh: “We only had two days for recovery with matches spaced two days apart, so we are dealing with each player according to their physical needs to reach optimal readiness.”
He warned of the dangers posed by Al-Fateh, pointing to their quality and ability to reach the goal, as well as having impactful offensive players. He urged his players to show aggression, keep the opponent away from dangerous areas, and exploit their weaknesses.
Al-Khaleej will visit Al-Fateh tomorrow (Sunday) at 9 PM at Al-Fateh Stadium in Al-Ahsa as part of the tenth round of Roshan, where Al-Khaleej is in 11th place with 9 points, and Al-Fateh is in 16th place with 6 points.
