وجّه نائب رئيس دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة رئيس مجلس الوزراء حاكم دبي الشيخ محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم، رسالة إلى أبناء الخليج العربي، دعا فيها إلى تعزيز التقارب والتعاون بين دول المنطقة، وتجاوز الخلافات، وعدم السماح للتجاذبات الإعلامية وحسابات التواصل الاجتماعي بالنيل من الروابط التاريخية والاجتماعية التي تجمع شعوب الخليج.
وأكد محمد بن راشد، في رسالة نشرها عبر حسابه في منصة «إكس»، أن ما يجمع أبناء الخليج يتجاوز الاتفاقيات السياسية والمصالح الاقتصادية، ليشمل وحدة التاريخ والجغرافيا والأنساب والمصير المشترك، مشدداً على أن اختلاف التجارب لا يتعارض مع وحدة الأهداف والطموحات.
تحذير من الأجندات الضيقة
وفي رسالة مباشرة إلى أبناء الخليج، حذّر الشيخ محمد بن راشد من السماح للخلافات الإعلامية والأجندات الضيقة بتقويض العلاقات الراسخة بين شعوب المنطقة، قائلاً: «لن تجمعنا ساحات الجغرافيا والتاريخ والدم وتفرقنا ساحات الإعلام».
وأضاف: «ولن تجمعنا التنمية الواحدة وحسابات الاقتصاد المشترك وتفرقنا حسابات التواصل»، مؤكداً أن أصحاب الأجندات الضيقة لن يستطيعوا محو قرون من الجوار، أو تغيير حقائق الجغرافيا والأنساب التي تربط أبناء الخليج.
وشدّد على أن الخليج لم تجمعه الاتفاقيات السياسية وحدها، بل أجيال تعاقبت على أرضه، وروابط إنسانية واجتماعية سبقت قيام الدول الحديثة، مضيفاً: «تلاقت في الخليج القلوب قبل الحدود، وتعانقت فيه الأنساب قبل الأوطان، وازدهرت فيه المحبة قبل التنمية».
من صيد اللؤلؤ إلى قيادة الاقتصاد العالمي
واستعرض حاكم دبي التحولات التنموية التي شهدتها دول الخليج خلال العقود الماضية، وانتقالها من مدن بسيطة وموانئ صيد متواضعة إلى حواضر عالمية ومراكز اقتصادية واستثمارية مؤثرة.
وأشار إلى أن أبناء الخليج نجحوا في بناء الثروات والمؤسسات، وربط القارات، واستضافة الفعاليات العالمية، وتزويد الاقتصادات بالطاقة، مع المحافظة على هويتهم الثقافية وأصالتهم الاجتماعية.
واعتبر أن الإنجاز الأكبر لم يكن في تشييد المدن أو بناء الثروات، وإنما في الاستثمار في الإنسان، وترسيخ الانتماء الوطني، وتعزيز قيم التعايش والتسامح، واصفاً أبناء الخليج بأنهم «أمل الأمة.. وقِبلتها.. ورجاؤها لاستئناف حضارتها وقوتها ومجدها».
قوتنا في التقارب لا في إلغاء الاختلافات
وأوضح الشيخ محمد بن راشد أن دعوته لا تستهدف إقامة اتحاد سياسي بين دول الخليج أو تجاوز خصوصية تجاربها الوطنية، وإنما تعزيز التعاون والتنسيق وإدارة الاختلافات وتقوية المؤسسات المشتركة.
وقال: «لا أتحدث هنا عن اتحاد بين دولنا، أو تجاهل خصوصية تجاربنا، بل أتحدث عن تقاربنا وتعاوننا، وإدارة اختلافاتنا، وتقوية مؤسساتنا، وتنسيق جهودنا».
وأكد أن القوة الحقيقية لا تكمن في تطابق التجارب، بل في تنوعها وقدرتها على التكامل، مشيراً إلى أن اجتماع الإرادات والطموحات الخليجية من شأنه فتح آفاق واسعة للتنمية والتقدم.
واستشهد بتجربة دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة، وما حققته من منجزات بعد اجتماع إرادة وعزيمة الإمارات السبع، معتبراً أن تقارب دول الخليج يمكن أن يحوّل المستحيلات إلى مشاريع قابلة للتحقيق.
الخليج.. مصير مشترك
وفي وصف للعلاقات الخليجية، شبّه محمد بن راشد دول المنطقة بشجرة عظيمة تعددت أغصانها وثمارها، لكنها تستمد قوتها من أصل واحد وجذور مشتركة.
وقال: «الخليج شجرة عظيمة تعدّدت أغصانها، وزانت ثمارها، وازدهرت ظلالها، لكنّ أصلها واحد، وجذرها واحد، وماءها واحد، ومصيرها واحد بإذن الله».
وأشار إلى أن تكامل الطموحات والثروات والطاقات البشرية الخليجية يمكن أن يعزز مكانة المنطقة بوصفها جسراً بين القارات، ومركزاً عالمياً للعلم والتقنية والاستثمار، وقوة قادرة على مواجهة التحديات الدولية.
الوحدة اجتماع القلوب.. لا فتح الحدود
وشدّد حاكم دبي على أن مفهوم الوحدة الخليجية يتجاوز الإجراءات السياسية والاقتصادية، ليقوم أساساً على التقارب الإنساني والتفاهم المشترك.
وقال: «الوحدة ليست في فتح الحدود، بل في اجتماع القلوب. والقوة ليست في إلغاء الاختلافات، بل في إدارتها لتخلق حيوية جديدة».
واعتبر أن تنوع التجارب الخليجية يمثل مصدر قوة وفرصة لصناعة مستقبل مشترك، مشبّهاً ذلك بالأنهار المختلفة التي تصب في بحر واحد دون أن تفقد هويتها.
«أنا الخليجي وأفتخر إني خليجي»
واختتم الشيخ محمد بن راشد رسالته بالتأكيد على تفاؤله بمستقبل الخليج، وثقته بقدرة أجياله على مواصلة مسيرة البناء والتنمية، والمحافظة على روابط الأخوة والمصير المشترك.
وقال: «متفائل بالخليج وسأبقى»، معرباً عن أمله في أن يبقى الخليج واحداً بشعوبه وطموحاته ومشاريعه، وأن يظل الانتماء الخليجي مصدر اعتزاز لأبنائه.
واختتم رسالته بعبارة: «أنا الخليجي وأفتخر إني خليجي»، داعياً الله أن يحفظ الخليج ويديم عزّه ومجده وازدهاره.
The Vice President of the United Arab Emirates, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, addressed the people of the Arabian Gulf in a message calling for enhanced closeness and cooperation among the countries of the region, urging them to overcome differences and not allow media disputes and social media dynamics to undermine the historical and social ties that bind the Gulf peoples.
Mohammed bin Rashid emphasized, in a message published on his account on the “X” platform, that what unites the people of the Gulf goes beyond political agreements and economic interests, encompassing a shared history, geography, lineage, and common destiny, stressing that differing experiences do not contradict shared goals and aspirations.
Warning Against Narrow Agendas
In a direct message to the people of the Gulf, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid warned against allowing media disputes and narrow agendas to undermine the established relationships among the peoples of the region, stating: “Geography, history, and blood will unite us, while media will not divide us.”
He added: “Unified development and shared economic interests will bring us together, while social media dynamics will not divide us,” affirming that those with narrow agendas cannot erase centuries of neighborliness or change the geographical and ancestral realities that connect the people of the Gulf.
He stressed that the Gulf has not been united solely by political agreements, but by generations that have succeeded one another on its land, and by human and social bonds that predate the establishment of modern states, adding: “In the Gulf, hearts met before borders, lineages embraced before nations, and love flourished before development.”
From Pearl Diving to Leading the Global Economy
The Ruler of Dubai reviewed the developmental transformations that Gulf countries have witnessed over the past decades, transitioning from simple towns and modest fishing ports to global metropolises and influential economic and investment centers.
He noted that the people of the Gulf have succeeded in building wealth and institutions, connecting continents, hosting global events, and supplying economies with energy, while preserving their cultural identity and social authenticity.
He considered that the greatest achievement was not in constructing cities or building wealth, but in investing in people, instilling national belonging, and enhancing values of coexistence and tolerance, describing the people of the Gulf as “the hope of the nation… its qibla… and its hope for resuming its civilization, strength, and glory.”
Our Strength Lies in Closeness, Not in Erasing Differences
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid clarified that his call does not aim to establish a political union among Gulf countries or to overlook the uniqueness of their national experiences, but rather to enhance cooperation, coordination, manage differences, and strengthen common institutions.
He said: “I am not talking here about a union among our countries, or ignoring the uniqueness of our experiences, but I am talking about our closeness and cooperation, managing our differences, strengthening our institutions, and coordinating our efforts.”
He affirmed that true strength does not lie in identical experiences, but in their diversity and ability to integrate, pointing out that the convergence of Gulf wills and aspirations can open wide horizons for development and progress.
He cited the experience of the United Arab Emirates and what it has achieved after the convergence of the will and determination of the seven emirates, considering that the closeness of Gulf countries can transform impossibilities into achievable projects.
The Gulf… A Shared Destiny
In describing Gulf relations, Mohammed bin Rashid likened the countries of the region to a great tree with multiple branches and fruits, drawing its strength from a single origin and common roots.
He said: “The Gulf is a great tree with multiple branches, adorned with its fruits, and flourishing in its shade, but its origin is one, its root is one, its water is one, and its destiny is one, God willing.”
He pointed out that the integration of Gulf aspirations, wealth, and human energies can enhance the region’s status as a bridge between continents, a global center for science, technology, and investment, and a force capable of facing international challenges.
Unity is the Gathering of Hearts… Not Opening Borders
The Ruler of Dubai emphasized that the concept of Gulf unity goes beyond political and economic measures, fundamentally based on human closeness and mutual understanding.
He said: “Unity is not in opening borders, but in the gathering of hearts. Strength is not in erasing differences, but in managing them to create new vitality.”
He considered that the diversity of Gulf experiences represents a source of strength and an opportunity to create a shared future, likening it to different rivers flowing into one sea without losing their identity.
“I am Gulf and Proud to be Gulf”
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid concluded his message by affirming his optimism for the future of the Gulf and his confidence in the ability of its generations to continue the path of construction and development, while maintaining the bonds of brotherhood and shared destiny.
He said: “I am optimistic about the Gulf and I will remain so,” expressing his hope that the Gulf remains united in its peoples, aspirations, and projects, and that Gulf identity remains a source of pride for its children.
He ended his message with the phrase: “I am Gulf and proud to be Gulf,” praying to God to preserve the Gulf and sustain its honor, glory, and prosperity.
