The Disciplinary and Ethics Committee of the Saudi Football Federation issued three decisions against Al-Hazm Club, following the failure to implement rulings issued by the Dispute Resolution Chamber in favor of the federation, despite being upheld by the Saudi Sports Arbitration Center.
The decisions imposed a fine of 20,000 riyals for each case, totaling 60,000 riyals, and granted the club a final deadline of 30 days from the date of notification to fulfill the financial obligations owed to the federation, amid official warnings that continued non-compliance could result in a ban on registering players, followed by a deduction of three points from the first team’s total, potentially leading to relegation to a lower division according to Article 90 of the Disciplinary and Ethics Regulations.
The three cases relate to financial dues arising from compensation for training professional players, filing fees, and litigation procedures; Al-Hazm was obligated in the first case to pay 373,800 riyals to the federation for player Abdulrazak bin Sulan Awaji, in the second case to pay 671,453 riyals and 45 halalas for player Ahmed bin Ali Asiri, while the third case required him to pay more than 691,000 riyals for player Hassan bin Bandar Idris, bringing the total value of the dues to exceed two million riyals before adding the fines.
The decisions stipulated that Al-Hazm would be prohibited from registering players during the nearest upcoming period if the deadline expires without settlement, with the registration ban continuing until full compliance, and if the period ends without payment, the penalty of deducting three points will be applied immediately.
The committee obligated both Al-Ittihad and Al-Hazm clubs to notify it upon submitting completion documents immediately after execution, emphasizing that these decisions are final and not subject to appeal according to Article 144 of the regulations.
