أغلقت السلطات السورية، اليوم (الثلاثاء)، معبر نصيب الحدودي مع الأردن، بعدما نفذ سلاح الجو الأردني غارات على جنوب البلاد، قالت عمّان إنها استهدفت «أوكاراً لتنظيمات إرهابية» ربطتها بمنفذي الهجوم على كنيسة الكرك، فيما قالت دمشق إن الضربات أوقعت ضحايا مدنيين ونُفذت «دون تنسيق مسبق».
تعليق حركة المسافرين
وأعلنت الهيئة العامة للمنافذ والجمارك السورية، عبر حسابها الرسمي على منصة «إكس»، إغلاق منفذ نصيب الحدودي مع الأردن، نظراً للأوضاع الراهنة والتطورات الميدانية في محافظة درعا.
وأوضحت أن القرار يشمل تعليق حركة المسافرين والحركة التجارية بالكامل في الاتجاهين، حرصاً على سلامة المسافرين والعاملين في المنفذ، مؤكدة استمرار متابعة التطورات الميدانية واتخاذ الإجراءات اللازمة لضمان سلامة الجميع.
فتح قنوات تواصل مع الأردن
وأفادت الحكومة السورية في بيان، بأن الجهات المعنية باشرت تحقيقات للوقوف على ملابسات الاستهداف، بالتوازي مع فتح قنوات تواصل مع الجانب الأردني لبحث الموقف.
وشددت على أهمية التنسيق الميداني والأمني المشترك بشأن أي خطوات تخص المناطق الحدودية، بما يحفظ سيادة سورية ويصون أمن البلدين واستقرارهما.
وأكدت الحكومة السورية تضامنها مع العائلات المتضررة، مشيرةً إلى أن الجهات المعنية تتابع أوضاعها وحاجاتها وتعمل على تقديم الدعم اللازم لها.
وفي بيان منفصل، قالت وزارة الخارجية السورية إنها أبلغت الأردن تحفظها الكامل على تنفيذ عمليات داخل الأراضي السورية دون تنسيق مسبق. وأعربت الوزارة عن أسفها لسقوط ضحايا ومصابين من محافظة درعا، مؤكدة استمرار التواصل والتنسيق مع الجانب الأردني للوقوف على التفاصيل والأسباب، والتعامل مع تداعيات العملية بما يحفظ الأمن وسيادة الأراضي السورية.
ارتفاع عدد ضحايا القصف
من جهتها، أفادت مديرية صحة درعا بارتفاع حصيلة ضحايا القصف الجوي الأردني إلى 10 أشخاص بينهم ثلاثة أطفال وامرأة، إضافة إلى أربعة جرحى.
وكانت وزارة الطوارئ وإدارة الكوارث السورية، ذكرت في تقرير أولي، بأن الغارات الأردنية على ريفي درعا والسويداء أسفرت عن سقوط سبعة ضحايا، بينهم ثلاثة أطفال وامرأة، وإصابة رجلين وطفل. وأوضحت أن فرقها استجابت لبلاغات في أربعة مواقع، وباشرت عمليات البحث والإنقاذ وإسعاف المصابين وانتشال الجثامين.
وأشارت إلى أن غارة استهدفت خيمة في قرية الطف بريف درعا الشمالي الشرقي، وأسفرت عن سقوط خمسة مدنيين وإصابة ثلاثة آخرين، جميعهم من عائلة واحدة، فيما أسفرت غارتان على مزرعة بمنطقة نصيب ومنزل ببلدة شهيب في ريف السويداء عن وفاة رجلين يبلغان 80 و60 عاماً.
«الردع الأردني – حمود»
ونفذت القوات المسلحة الأردنية، (الاثنين)، عملية جوية باسم «الردع الأردني – حمود»، استهدفت ما وصفتها بـ«أوكار للتنظيمات الإرهابية» في جنوب سورية، وفق وكالة الأنباء الأردنية «بترا».
وقالت إن العملية جاءت انتقاماً لضحايا الهجوم على جنازة في كنيسة حمود بمحافظة الكرك، (الجمعة) الماضية، مؤكدة أن منفذي الهجوم يرتبطون بالتنظيمات المستهدفة.
وأضافت أن العملية أسفرت عن سقوط ضحايا ومصابين في صفوف عناصر تلك التنظيمات وتدمير عدد من آلياتها، مشددةً على عزمها مواصلة جهود مواجهة التطرف والإرهاب وحماية المواطنين.
The Syrian authorities closed the Nasib border crossing with Jordan today (Tuesday), after the Jordanian Air Force carried out strikes in the south of the country, which Amman said targeted “hideouts of terrorist organizations” linked to the attackers of the Karak church, while Damascus stated that the strikes resulted in civilian casualties and were carried out “without prior coordination.”
Suspension of Passenger Movement
The Syrian General Authority for Ports and Customs announced via its official account on the “X” platform the closure of the Nasib border crossing with Jordan, due to the current situation and field developments in Daraa Governorate.
It clarified that the decision includes the suspension of passenger movement and commercial traffic entirely in both directions, in order to ensure the safety of travelers and workers at the crossing, confirming that it will continue to monitor field developments and take necessary measures to ensure everyone’s safety.
Opening Communication Channels with Jordan
The Syrian government stated in a statement that the relevant authorities have begun investigations to understand the circumstances of the targeting, alongside opening communication channels with the Jordanian side to discuss the situation.
It emphasized the importance of joint field and security coordination regarding any steps related to border areas, in a manner that preserves Syria’s sovereignty and ensures the security and stability of both countries.
The Syrian government confirmed its solidarity with the affected families, noting that the relevant authorities are monitoring their conditions and needs and are working to provide the necessary support.
In a separate statement, the Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that it had informed Jordan of its complete reservation regarding the execution of operations within Syrian territory without prior coordination. The ministry expressed its regret for the casualties and injuries from Daraa Governorate, reaffirming its commitment to continue communication and coordination with the Jordanian side to clarify the details and reasons, and to address the repercussions of the operation in a manner that preserves the security and sovereignty of Syrian territory.
Increase in Casualties from the Bombing
For its part, the Daraa Health Directorate reported an increase in the toll of casualties from the Jordanian airstrikes to 10 people, including three children and a woman, in addition to four injured.
The Syrian Ministry of Emergency and Disaster Management had mentioned in an initial report that the Jordanian strikes on the outskirts of Daraa and Sweida resulted in seven casualties, including three children and a woman, and injuries to two men and a child. It clarified that its teams responded to reports at four locations and began search and rescue operations, as well as assisting the injured and retrieving bodies.
It indicated that one strike targeted a tent in the village of Tafas in northeastern Daraa, resulting in the deaths of five civilians and injuries to three others, all from the same family, while two strikes on a farm in the Nasib area and a house in the town of Shaheeb in the outskirts of Sweida resulted in the deaths of two men aged 80 and 60.
“Jordanian Deterrence – Hamoud”
The Jordanian Armed Forces carried out an air operation on Monday named “Jordanian Deterrence – Hamoud,” targeting what it described as “hideouts of terrorist organizations” in southern Syria, according to the Jordanian news agency Petra.
It stated that the operation was in retaliation for the victims of the attack on a funeral at the Hamoud church in Karak Governorate last Friday, confirming that the attackers are linked to the targeted organizations.
It added that the operation resulted in casualties and injuries among the members of those organizations and the destruction of several of their vehicles, stressing its determination to continue efforts to combat extremism and terrorism and to protect citizens.
