أثار الاعتداء على خادم مسجد مُسن في مصر موجة غضب واسعة، بعدما فقد عينه إثر هجوم تعرَّض له أثناء التزامه بمواعيد فتح المسجد المعتمدة، في واقعة صادمة تداولها رواد مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي على نطاق واسع.
ووقعت الحادثة داخل مسجد (عودة) بمنطقة المنشية الجديدة في مدينة شبرا الخيمة بمحافظة القليوبية، قبيل صلاة فجر الثلاثاء، عندما حاول أحد الأشخاص دخول المسجد قبل الموعد المحدد لفتحه.
وبحسب روايات متداولة وشهادات من موقع الحادث، رفض خادم المسجد، الذي تجاوز السبعين من عمره، السماح للرجل بالدخول قبل الوقت المقرر، ما أدى إلى نشوب مشادة انتهت باعتداء عنيف عليه. وأفادت التحريات الأولية بأن المتهم أخرج أداة حادة كانت بحوزته واستخدمها في الاعتداء على العامل، متسببًا في إصابة بالغة بعينه اليمنى وسط حالة من الذهول بين المتواجدين بالمكان.
وسارع عدد من الأهالي إلى نجدة الضحية بعد سماع استغاثته، فيما نُقل على الفور إلى المستشفى لتلقي الرعاية الطبية اللازمة، دون صدور بيان رسمي حتى الآن بشأن تطورات حالته الصحية أو حجم الضرر الذي لحق بعينه.
وفي أعقاب الواقعة، تمكنت الأجهزة الأمنية من ضبط المشتبه به، فيما باشرت الجهات المختصة تحقيقاتها للوقوف على ملابسات الحادثة واتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية اللازمة.

The attack on an elderly mosque caretaker in Egypt has sparked widespread outrage after he lost his eye due to an assault he suffered while adhering to the mosque’s official opening times, in a shocking incident widely shared by social media users.
The incident occurred inside the (Awda) mosque in the New Manshiyya area of Shubra El-Kheima city in Qalyubia Governorate, just before the Fajr prayer on Tuesday, when a man attempted to enter the mosque before the scheduled opening time.
According to circulating accounts and testimonies from the scene, the mosque caretaker, who is over seventy years old, refused to allow the man to enter before the designated time, which led to a heated argument that ended with a violent assault on him. Preliminary investigations indicated that the suspect pulled out a sharp object he had in his possession and used it to attack the caretaker, causing severe injury to his right eye amidst shock among those present.
Several locals rushed to help the victim after hearing his cries for help, and he was immediately taken to the hospital to receive necessary medical care, with no official statement released yet regarding the developments of his health condition or the extent of the damage to his eye.
Following the incident, security forces managed to apprehend the suspect, while the relevant authorities began their investigations to determine the circumstances of the incident and take the necessary legal actions.
