العلماء والمؤرخون يوثقون تاريخ الإفتاء في المملكة منذ الدولة الأولى – أخبار السعودية – ن والقلم

شارك نخبة من العلماء والمؤرخين والباحثين والمختصين في التوثيق، حضورياً وعبر الاتصال المرئي، في الورشة الأولى لمشروع تاريخ الإفتاء في المملكة، التي عقدتها الرئاسة العامة للبحوث العلمية والإفتاء ودارة الملك عبدالعزيز، اليوم، بمقر الرئاسة في الرياض.
وتأتي الورشة تفعيلاً لمذكرة التعاون الموقعة بين الجهتين في 24 ذي الحجة 1447هـ؛ بهدف توثيق تاريخ الإفتاء بمراحله المتعاقبة منذ قيام الدولة السعودية الأولى حتى العصر الحاضر.
وناقشت جلسات الورشة الإطار العلمي والمنهجي للمشروع، وتحديد مراحله التاريخية، وآليات حصر المصادر والوثائق والفتاوى والرسائل والمخطوطات ذات الصلة، وجمعها ودراستها وفهرستها ورقمنتها، إلى جانب توثيق سير المفتين والعلماء الذين أسهموا في بناء هذا التاريخ، ورصد تطور العمل المؤسسي للإفتاء وصولاً إلى هيئة كبار العلماء واللجنة الدائمة للفتوى. كما استعرضت الخطة التنفيذية والجدول الزمني للمشروع ومخرجاته العلمية.
وأوضح الأمين العام لهيئة كبار العلماء والأمين العام للجنة الدائمة للفتوى، المشرف العام على مكتب المفتي العام للمملكة، الشيخ الدكتور فهد سعد الماجد، أن الورشة تمثل الخطوة العملية الأولى لتفعيل مذكرة التعاون مع دارة الملك عبدالعزيز، وتحويلها إلى عمل علمي منظم تتضافر فيه خبرات الجهتين.
وبيّن أن الإفتاء في المملكة لم يكن عملاً فردياً معزولاً، بل نهج متصل منذ قيام الدولة السعودية الأولى، حمل أمانته العلماء جيلاً بعد جيل، حتى أصبح مؤسسة راسخة ذات أنظمة وهيئات ولجان، مؤكداً أن توثيق هذا التاريخ وفاء للعلماء الذين أسهموا فيه وتأريخ لمسيرة مؤسسة الإفتاء.
وأشار إلى أن المشروع يحظى بمتابعة مباشرة من المفتي العام للمملكة، وأن الشراكة تجمع بين العمق الشرعي الذي تمثله الرئاسة والخبرة التاريخية والتوثيقية التي تمتلكها الدارة، معرباً عن تطلعه إلى أن يشكل المشروع مرجعاً علمياً موثقاً للباحثين والأجيال القادمة، يبرز مسيرة الإفتاء السعودي ومنهج الوسطية والاعتدال الذي قامت عليه المؤسسة.

A select group of scholars, historians, researchers, and documentation specialists participated, both in person and via video conferencing, in the first workshop of the Fatwa History Project in the Kingdom, organized today by the General Presidency for Scientific Research and Ifta and the King Abdulaziz Foundation, at the presidency’s headquarters in Riyadh.
The workshop comes as an activation of the cooperation memorandum signed between the two parties on the 24th of Dhu al-Hijjah 1447 AH; aimed at documenting the history of fatwa through its successive stages from the establishment of the first Saudi state to the present day.
The sessions of the workshop discussed the scientific and methodological framework of the project, the identification of its historical stages, and the mechanisms for cataloging sources, documents, fatwas, letters, and relevant manuscripts, as well as collecting, studying, indexing, and digitizing them, in addition to documenting the biographies of the muftis and scholars who contributed to building this history, and tracking the development of institutional work in fatwa leading to the Council of Senior Scholars and the Permanent Committee for Ifta. The executive plan and timeline of the project and its scientific outputs were also reviewed.
The Secretary-General of the Council of Senior Scholars and the Secretary-General of the Permanent Committee for Ifta, the General Supervisor of the Office of the Grand Mufti of the Kingdom, Sheikh Dr. Fahd Saad Al-Majed, stated that the workshop represents the first practical step to activate the cooperation memorandum with the King Abdulaziz Foundation, transforming it into an organized scientific work that combines the expertise of both parties.
He indicated that fatwa in the Kingdom has not been an isolated individual act, but rather a continuous approach since the establishment of the first Saudi state, entrusted to scholars from generation to generation, until it became a solid institution with systems, bodies, and committees, emphasizing that documenting this history is a tribute to the scholars who contributed to it and a record of the journey of the fatwa institution.
He pointed out that the project is under direct follow-up from the Grand Mufti of the Kingdom, and that the partnership combines the deep religious understanding represented by the presidency and the historical and documentation expertise possessed by the foundation, expressing his hope that the project will serve as a documented scientific reference for researchers and future generations, highlighting the journey of Saudi fatwa and the approach of moderation and balance upon which the institution was founded.
