وكان توتنهام، بقيادة مدربه الإيطالي روبرتو دي زيربي، قد حقق الفوز في مبارياته الثلاث الأخيرة، بعد انطلاقة كارثية، لكنه عاد إلى التعثر مجدداً بسقوط مفاجئ أمام ليدز.

سجل نواه أوكافور هدف المباراة الوحيد لصالح ليدز يونايتد في الدقيقة 79، بعدما استلم الكرة داخل منطقة الجزاء، وأطلق تسديدة قوية سكنت شباك توتنهام.
ترتيب الفريقين
بهذه النتيجة، رفع ليدز يونايتد رصيده إلى 14 نقطة، ليتقدم إلى المركز الثامن في جدول ترتيب البريميرليغ، بينما تجمد رصيد توتنهام عند 12 نقطة في المركز الحادي عشر.
