لقي 10 أشخاص مقتلهم، بينهم أطفال، إثر انقلاب سيارة وسقوطها في بحيرة بمدينة بارا مانسا بولاية ريو دي جانيرو جنوب شرق البرازيل، مساء أمس (السبت)، في حادث مأساوي فتحت السلطات تحقيقاً لكشف ملابساته.
ووفقاً لوسائل إعلام برازيلية، وقع الحادث على طريق «فازيندا سانتا كاتارينا» في منطقة أتاولفو دي بايفا، بعدما انقلبت السيارة وسقطت في البحيرة، حيث عُثر على جميع ركابها متوفين داخل المركبة.
وأفادت فرق الإطفاء والإنقاذ البرازيلية بأنها دفعت بنحو 30 عنصراً من خمس وحدات، مدعومين بعشر مركبات إنقاذ وقارب وغواصين، لانتشال الضحايا، فيما نُقلت الجثامين إلى معهد الطب الشرعي في مدينة فولتا ريدوندا لاستكمال إجراءات الفحص والتعرف على الهويات.
وباشرت الشرطة المدنية التحقيق في الحادث، وأجرت فرق الأدلة الجنائية المعاينة الميدانية، وصادرت وثائق المركبة، للوقوف على الأسباب والظروف التي أدت إلى انقلابها وسقوطها في البحيرة.
Ten people, including children, lost their lives after a car overturned and fell into a lake in the city of Barra Mansa in the state of Rio de Janeiro, southeast Brazil, last night (Saturday), in a tragic incident that prompted authorities to open an investigation to uncover the circumstances surrounding it.
According to Brazilian media, the accident occurred on the “Fazenda Santa Catarina” road in the Atalfo de Paiva area, after the car overturned and fell into the lake, where all its passengers were found dead inside the vehicle.
Brazilian fire and rescue teams reported that they dispatched about 30 personnel from five units, supported by ten rescue vehicles, a boat, and divers, to recover the victims, while the bodies were transported to the forensic institute in Volta Redonda to complete the examination and identification procedures.
The civil police have initiated an investigation into the incident, and forensic teams conducted a field examination, seizing the vehicle’s documents to determine the causes and circumstances that led to its overturning and falling into the lake.
