في أكبر حفل توزيع جوائز في مصر، كرّم مهرجان «ذا بيست» الذي يقام سنوياً في جمهورية مصر العربية لاختيار أفضل الشخصيات الإبداعية في مجالات مختلفة؛ الأمين العام للملتقى الإعلامي العربي المستشار ماضي عبدالله الخميس، باعتباره أفضل شخصية إعلامية عربية.
وقال الخميس خلال حفل تكريمه الذي أُقيم في سفح الهرم بحضور العديد من نجوم مصر بمختلف المجالات: «أن يأتي التكريم من مصر فهو أمر مختلف تماماً.. مصر بتاريخها ونجومها وإبداعها تظل هي القيادة والريادة وصمام الأمان للأمة العربية ككل. إن التاريخ العظيم لمصر، والحاضر المميز.. وما بينهما من آلاف السنوات.. أعطى مصر قوة كبيرة على مقاومة الأزمات.. والقدرة على التجدد دائماً. حفظ الله مصر وشعبها وقيادتها من كل مكروه».
At the largest awards ceremony in Egypt, the “The Best” festival, which is held annually in the Arab Republic of Egypt to select the best creative personalities in various fields, honored the Secretary-General of the Arab Media Forum, Counselor Madi Abdullah Al-Khamis, as the best Arab media personality.
During his honoring ceremony held at the foot of the pyramid, in the presence of many stars from various fields in Egypt, Al-Khamis said: “To be honored by Egypt is something completely different.. Egypt, with its history, stars, and creativity, remains the leadership and pioneering force and the safety valve for the Arab nation as a whole. The great history of Egypt, the distinguished present.. and the thousands of years in between.. have given Egypt great strength to resist crises.. and the ability to always renew itself. May God protect Egypt, its people, and its leadership from all harm.”
