تابع قناة عكاظ على الواتساب
الكتابةُ فعلٌ لا إرادي؛ يمارسه الإنسانُ كلَّ يومٍ وكلَّ حين، يكتب دون أن يشعر بثقله، كما يتنفس.. حتى الجُمل لها شهيقٌ وزفير، ولا ينقطع المرء عن الكتابة إلا بانقطاع نفسه.
وأنا امرؤٌ — على قول المتنبي —:
ما لاحَ بَرقٌ أو تَرنَّمَ طائرٌ
إلّا انثنيتُ ولي فؤادٌ شَيِّقُ
فؤادٌ يجد في الكتابة حياةً لا تُستبدل.
أعود اليوم إلى نفسي.. إلى كتابة المقال.. والعودةُ أمرٌ، والعودة عبر «عكاظ» أمرٌ آخر تماماً.
«عكاظ» العريقة، العتيقة، الصامدة بشموخ، التي ما زادتها الرياح العاتية إلا ثباتاً فوق ثبات، وحضوراً.. وأيُّ حضور وعلى رأس هذا المجد يقف قائد العراقة الأستاذ جميل الذيابي..!
أعود إليها،
وما أحلى الرجوع إليها.
وكما أعود أنا إلى الكتابة، يعود «الأخضر» إلى مكانه الطبيعي.. تحت الضوء؛ فهو سيّدُ ساداته.
يروق لي هذا الزخمُ الذي يحظى به المنتخب السعودي، ذلك الزخم الذي ما إن تعود المنافسات المحلية حتى يُنسى.. يُنسى كأنه لم يكُن. ردّ العقيدي، ورحيل رينارد إلى أمريكا، وانتصاران في قطر، وضمانٌ للتأهل إلى الدور القادم من كأس العرب، ثم قرعةٌ في أمريكا وضعته في مجموعةٍ حديديةٍ يطول الحديث عن حظوظه في النجاة منها. من هذا الضوء يتنفس «الأخضر»، ويستعيد بريقه الذي يستحقّه.. ولا يستحقّه سواه.
كأس العرب يجب أن تكون أحد أهم مستهدفات رينارد، الذي أغراه- للأسف- بريقُ كأس العالم مبكراً، فترك الدوحة في ليلة جزر القمر.. تلك الليلة التي أنقذه فيها سالم ورفاقه.
لا أذكر حقّاً آخر بطولةٍ حققها منتخبنا، لكن ما أنا متأكدٌ منه أن طريق التأهل إلى الدور الثاني من كأس العالم يبدأ من منصة كأس العرب. نعم.. الفوزُ ثقافة، والبطولاتُ فلسفتها، والذهبُ أبلغ المتحدثين باسمها. المنصات تبني الثقة، وتمتد منها جسورُ الرضا بين الجميع: لاعبين، وإدارة فنية، واتحاد كرة، وجمهور.
وعلى النقيض، المشاركة لمجرد المشاركة، والتنقل من مطارٍ إلى آخر دون إنجازٍ يليق بعظمة هذا الوطن.. تخلق ثورةً من الشك.
يحتفظ المنتخب السعودي بهيبته، وحضوره، وسطوته. هذه الشخصية ما تزال حاضرة: تراها في أعين منافسيه، في استوديوهات التحليل، في العناوين الصحفية. هذا الامتياز الذي يتفوق به الصقور الخُضر يجب تعزيزه؛ ابتداءً من لاعبيه، وانتهاءً بمشجعيه، الذين يجب أن يصابوا بعمى ألوان أمامه.. حتى آخر يومٍ في البطولة.
اليوم الذي ستصوغ فيه «عكاظ» _بإذن الله_ عنواناً مختلفاً، مفاده:
المنتخب السعودي.. بطل العرب!

Writing is an involuntary act; it is practiced by humans every day and at all times, writing without feeling its weight, just as one breathes.. even sentences have inhalations and exhalations, and a person does not stop writing except when their breath stops.
And I am a person — as Al-Mutanabbi said —:
Whenever lightning flashes or a bird sings
I am drawn to it, and my heart is eager
A heart that finds in writing a life that cannot be replaced.
I return today to myself.. to writing the article.. and returning is one thing, and returning through “Okaz” is something entirely different.
“Okaz,” the ancient, the venerable, standing tall, which the fierce winds have only made more steadfast, and present.. and what a presence, with the leader of heritage, Mr. Jamil Al-Dhiabi, standing at the forefront of this glory..!
I return to it,
and how sweet it is to return to it.
And just as I return to writing, the “Green” returns to its natural place.. in the spotlight; for it is the lord of its lords.
I enjoy this momentum that the Saudi national team enjoys, that momentum which, as soon as local competitions return, is forgotten.. forgotten as if it never existed. The departure of Al-Iqdai, and Renard’s move to America, two victories in Qatar, and a guarantee to qualify for the next round of the Arab Cup, then a draw in America that placed it in a tough group that one could talk for a long time about its chances of survival. From this light, the “Green” breathes, and regains the shine it deserves.. and no one else deserves it.
The Arab Cup should be one of Renard’s main targets, who was unfortunately lured early by the allure of the World Cup, leaving Doha on the night of the Comoros Islands.. that night when Salem and his companions saved him.
I truly do not remember the last tournament our team won, but what I am sure of is that the path to qualifying for the second round of the World Cup begins from the platform of the Arab Cup. Yes.. winning is a culture, and championships have their philosophy, and gold is the most eloquent speaker on their behalf. Platforms build confidence, and from them extend bridges of satisfaction among everyone: players, technical management, football federation, and fans.
In contrast, participating just for the sake of participating, and moving from one airport to another without an achievement worthy of the greatness of this nation.. creates a revolution of doubt.
The Saudi national team retains its prestige, presence, and power. This character is still present: you see it in the eyes of its competitors, in analysis studios, in newspaper headlines. This privilege that the Green Falcons excel in must be reinforced; starting from its players, and ending with its fans, who must be color-blind in front of it.. until the last day of the tournament.
The day when “Okaz” will, God willing, formulate a different headline, stating:
The Saudi national team.. Champion of the Arabs!
