يحدث أحياناً، أن نكون في مكان، وعقولنا وأرواحنا تائهة في آخر.. نزور أماكن كانت لنا فيها ذكريات جميلة، فتعود أرواحنا لتلتقي بأرواح تعلّقنا بها، ونحن نعلم أنها لم تعد تسير معنا في البُعد نفسه.. نتمنّى لحياتنا أن تكون مختلفة عمّا نحن عليه، فننسى أن نرى الجمال في كل لحظة، ونغفل عن الفرح المختبئ في كل كلمة.. ننسى أن أدوارنا وعوالمنا مختلفة، وأن الحضور هو أعظم نعمة وهبة.
ويحدث أحياناً، أننا لا نسمع ولا نرى ولا نتكلم.. نعيش في عالم ظننّا أنه عالمنا الحقيقي، وتمنّينا لو كانت الحياة فيه كما تخيّلنا.. فلا نسمع صوت الفرح ولا نشعر به، ولا نستمتع بما بين أيدينا.. ندور في دوّامة داخلية، عقلية، مبنية على صور رسمناها وتمنّينا أن تكون واقعاً حتى نصحو منها، لنرى الواقع كما هو، بجماله، بنعمه، وبما كتبه الله لنا، فنحمد الله على كل شيء.. وعندما نبتعد عن اللحظة، نخسر لذّتها، ونفقد حضورنا الحقيقي مع من حولنا.. نبدو بأجسادٍ حاضرة، وقلوبٍ غائبة، وأرواحٍ بعيدة.
لهذا؛ علينا أن نعود إلى أنفسنا، ونختار أن نكون هنا والآن.. أن نسمح لقلوبنا بأن تعيش اللحظة، ولأرواحنا بأن تتذوّق معناها.. فالسعادة لا تحتاج الكثير، فقط تحتاج الحضور.
استمتع بما كتبه الله لك، فما خُلِق لك سيأتيك، وما لم يُكتَب لك سيمضي مهما حاولتَ أن تتمسّك به.. ابتسم؛ فربُّ الخير لا يأتي إلا بالخير.
Sometimes, we find ourselves in a place, while our minds and souls are lost in another.. We visit places where we have beautiful memories, and our souls return to meet the souls we were attached to, knowing that they no longer walk with us in the same dimension.. We wish our lives were different from what they are, forgetting to see the beauty in every moment, and overlooking the joy hidden in every word.. We forget that our roles and worlds are different, and that presence is the greatest blessing and gift.
Sometimes, we do not hear, see, or speak.. We live in a world we thought was our true world, wishing life in it were as we imagined.. We do not hear the sound of joy nor feel it, and we do not enjoy what is in our hands.. We spiral into an internal, mental whirlwind, built on images we have drawn and wished to be reality until we wake from it, to see reality as it is, with its beauty, its blessings, and what God has written for us, so we thank God for everything.. And when we distance ourselves from the moment, we lose its sweetness, and we lose our true presence with those around us.. We appear with present bodies, but with absent hearts, and distant souls.
Therefore; we must return to ourselves, and choose to be here and now.. To allow our hearts to live the moment, and our souls to savor its meaning.. For happiness does not require much, it only needs presence.
Enjoy what God has written for you, for what is created for you will come to you, and what is not written for you will pass no matter how hard you try to hold on to it.. Smile; for the Lord of goodness only brings goodness.
