تواصلت اليوم منافسات المرحلة الثانية من سباق طواف العُلا 2026، في نسخته السادسة، وسط منافسة محتدمة بين نخبة الدراجين العالميين في محافظة العُلا التاريخية، وذلك بتنظيم من الاتحاد السعودي للدراجات، بالتعاون مع منظمة ASO، والهيئة الملكية لمحافظة العُلا، وبإشراف من وزارة الرياضة.
وعقب انطلاقة قوية شهدتها المرحلة الافتتاحية، التي أقيمت أمس (الثلاثاء)، انطلقت المرحلة الثانية للطواف من محطة قطار المنشية والعودة إليها لمسافة 152 كيلومترًا، حيث نجح الإيطالي جوناثان ميلان من فريق ليدل تريك في تحقيق المركز الأول في المرحلة الثانية متصدرًا الترتيب العام، فيما تمكن الإيطالي دانيال سكيرل درّاج فريق بحرين فيكتوريَس من تحقيق المركز الثاني في المرحلة، وتواجد الألماني باسكال آكمان من فريق جايكو العُلا في المرتبة الثالثة وبزمنٍ متساوٍ مع الإيطالي دانيال.
وعلى صعيد الترتيب العام في منافسات المرحلتين الأولى والثانية في طواف العُلا 2026، يتصدر الإيطالي جوناثان ميلان من فريق ليدل تريك المركز الأول، بزمن يبلغ 3 ساعات و36 دقيقة و32 ثانية، فيما حلّ البلجيكي ميلان فريتين درّاج فريق كوفيديس في المركز الثاني بفارق 4 ثوانٍ، وجاء الإيطالي ماتيو موسكيتي درّاج فريق Q36.5 برو سايكلينغ في المركز الثالث بفارق 6 ثوانٍ.
ويشهد غدًا الخميس انطلاق منافسات المرحلة الثالثة من سباق طواف العُلا، والتي سيبدأ من المنتزه الشتوي وصولًا إلى بئر جيدة وجبل وركة لمسافة إجمالية تبلغ 142 كيلومترًا.
The second stage of the Al-Ula Tour 2026, in its sixth edition, continued today amidst fierce competition among elite global cyclists in the historic Al-Ula Governorate. This event is organized by the Saudi Cycling Federation, in collaboration with ASO, the Royal Commission for Al-Ula, and under the supervision of the Ministry of Sports.
Following a strong start witnessed in the opening stage, which took place yesterday (Tuesday), the second stage of the tour commenced from the Al-Manshiyah train station and returned to it over a distance of 152 kilometers. Italian Jonathan Milan from the Lidl Trek team succeeded in securing first place in the second stage, leading the overall standings, while Italian Daniel Skierl, a cyclist from the Bahrain Victorious team, managed to achieve second place in the stage. German Pascal Ackermann from the Jayco Al-Ula team came in third place with a time equal to that of Italian Daniel.
In terms of the overall standings for the first and second stages of the Al-Ula Tour 2026, Italian Jonathan Milan from the Lidl Trek team is in first place with a time of 3 hours, 36 minutes, and 32 seconds. Belgian Milan Vader, a cyclist from the Cofidis team, secured second place, just 4 seconds behind, while Italian Matteo Moschetti from the Q36.5 Pro Cycling team came in third, 6 seconds behind.
Tomorrow, Thursday, will see the start of the third stage of the Al-Ula Tour, which will begin from the Winter Park and reach Bir Jidah and Mount Warka, covering a total distance of 142 kilometers.
