أدان رئيس البرلمان العربي، محمد بن أحمد اليماحي، بأشد العبارات الخروقات الخطيرة والمتعمدة التي يرتكبها الاحتلال الإسرائيلي لاتفاق وقف إطلاق النار في قطاع غزة، مستنكراً استمرار استهداف المدنيين العزل وتدمير المنازل والمربعات السكنية.
تصعيد دموي متعمد
ووصف اليماحي التصعيد الذي شهدته غزة منذ فجر اليوم، وأسفر عن استشهاد أكثر من 28 فلسطينياً، بأنه «تصعيد دموي» يعكس استخفاف الاحتلال بالقوانين والمواثيق الدولية.
نسف للتهدئة وجهود الوسطاء
وأكد أن هذه الخروقات تمثل نسفاً كاملاً لأي التزام بالتهدئة، واستخفافاً صارخاً بجهود الوسطاء، وضرباً بعرض الحائط لكل الاتفاقات والتفاهمات الدولية، مشدداً على أن إسرائيل تسعى من خلالها إلى فرض وقائع عسكرية وأمنية جديدة، والتهرب من استحقاقات تنفيذ مراحل الاتفاق اللاحقة.
جرائم حرب وضد الإنسانية
وأشار اليماحي إلى أن ما يجري في غزة يشكل جرائم حرب وجرائم ضد الإنسانية مكتملة الأركان، تستدعي محاسبة فورية، محذراً من أن استمرار هذا النهج العدواني يقوض فرص الاستقرار ويهدد الأمن والسلم الإقليمي والدولي.
المجتمع الدولي مسؤول
وحمّل رئيس البرلمان العربي الاحتلال المسؤولية الكاملة عن تداعيات التصعيد الدموي، كما حمّل المجتمع الدولي صمته المسؤولية السياسية والأخلاقية المباشرة عن استمرار المجازر. وطالب مجلس الأمن والمجتمع الدولي بالتحرك العاجل والحاسم لإلزام الاحتلال بالتنفيذ الفوري والكامل لاتفاق وقف إطلاق النار، وتوفير الحماية الدولية للشعب الفلسطيني، مؤكداً أن الصمت لم يعد مقبولاً، وأن التهاون مع هذه الجرائم يُعد تواطؤاً مرفوضاً.
تحركات مستمرة لدعم فلسطين
وشدد اليماحي على أن البرلمان العربي سيواصل تحركاته البرلمانية والدبلوماسية على مختلف المستويات لكشف جرائم الاحتلال، ودعم صمود الشعب الفلسطيني، والدفاع عن حقوقه المشروعة، وعلى رأسها حقه في الحياة والحرية، وإنهاء الاحتلال، وإقامة دولته المستقلة وعاصمتها القدس.
The President of the Arab Parliament, Mohammed bin Ahmed Al-Yamahi, condemned in the strongest terms the serious and deliberate violations committed by the Israeli occupation of the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, denouncing the continued targeting of unarmed civilians and the destruction of homes and residential areas.
Deliberate Bloody Escalation
Al-Yamahi described the escalation witnessed in Gaza since dawn today, which resulted in the martyrdom of more than 28 Palestinians, as a “bloody escalation” that reflects the occupation’s contempt for international laws and treaties.
Sabotaging the Ceasefire and Mediators’ Efforts
He affirmed that these violations represent a complete undermining of any commitment to the ceasefire, a blatant disregard for the efforts of mediators, and a blatant disregard for all international agreements and understandings, stressing that Israel seeks through these actions to impose new military and security realities and evade the obligations of implementing the subsequent phases of the agreement.
War Crimes and Crimes Against Humanity
Al-Yamahi pointed out that what is happening in Gaza constitutes war crimes and crimes against humanity in their full dimensions, warranting immediate accountability, warning that the continuation of this aggressive approach undermines stability and threatens regional and international peace and security.
The International Community is Responsible
The President of the Arab Parliament held the occupation fully responsible for the repercussions of the bloody escalation, and he also held the international community accountable for its silence, which carries a direct political and moral responsibility for the continuation of the massacres. He called on the Security Council and the international community to take urgent and decisive action to compel the occupation to implement the ceasefire agreement immediately and completely, and to provide international protection for the Palestinian people, emphasizing that silence is no longer acceptable and that leniency towards these crimes is considered unacceptable complicity.
Ongoing Efforts to Support Palestine
Al-Yamahi emphasized that the Arab Parliament will continue its parliamentary and diplomatic efforts at various levels to expose the crimes of the occupation, support the steadfastness of the Palestinian people, and defend their legitimate rights, foremost among them their right to life and freedom, to end the occupation, and to establish their independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.
