كلّف مفتي عام المملكة رئيس هيئة كبار العلماء الرئيس العام للبحوث العلمية والإفتاء الشيخ الدكتور صالح فوزان الفوزان، عدداً من أعضاء هيئة كبار العلماء بالفتوى في مناطق المملكة، استمراراً لإنفاذ الأمر الملكي بقصر الفتوى على أعضاء هيئة كبار العلماء، وهم كل من: الشيخ الدكتور يوسف محمد عبدالعزيز سعيد، في فرعي الرئاسة بمنطقتي تبوك والجوف، والشيخ الدكتور محمد محمد المختار محمد مزيد، في فرع الرئاسة بمنطقة المدينة المنورة، والشيخ الدكتور جبريل محمد حسن البصيلي، في فرعي الرئاسة بمنطقتي عسير وجازان، والشيخ الدكتور غالب محمد أبو القاسم حامظي، في فرعي الرئاسة بمنطقتي الباحة ونجران، والشيخ الدكتور سامي محمد عبدالله الصقير، في فرعي الرئاسة بمنطقتي القصيم وحائل، والشيخ الدكتور بندر عبدالعزيز سراج بليله، بفرع الرئاسة في مكة المكرمة، والشيخ الدكتور عبدالإله محمد الملا، بفرعي الرئاسة في منطقتي الشرقية والحدود الشمالية.

وقال الأمين العام لهيئة كبار العلماء المشرف العام على الشؤون الإدارية والمالية في الرئاسة العامة للبحوث العلمية والإفتاء الشيخ الدكتور فهد سعد الماجد: «إن هذا التكليف من المفتي يأتي في إطار الأمر الملكي بقصر الفتوى على أعضاء هيئة كبار العلماء وبما يحقق تلقي الفتوى من مصادرها المعتمدة ويسهم في زيادة اتصال أعضاء الهيئة بالمجتمع في مناطق المملكة كافة، وفق رؤية تهدف إلى تيسير الفتوى للمستفتين».
وأوضح أن الرئاسة العامة للبحوث العلمية والإفتاء، ستعمل على كل ما من شأنه أن يؤدي أصحاب المعالي والفضيلة مهامهم الإفتائية بكل يسر ومن ذلك، دعمهم بكادر بحثي يتجاوز 80 باحثاً متخصصاً في علوم الشريعة، وكذلك تفعيل الحلول الرقمية.
كفاءة الأداء
وبين الشيخ الدكتور فهد الماجد: أن الرئاسة العامة للبحوث العلمية والإفتاء بالتعاون مع هيئة البيانات والذكاء الاصطناعي (سدايا) شرعت بما يتماشى إستراتيجياً مع مستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030 في تعزيز كفاءة الأداء الحكومي بالتحول الرقمي الشامل وصولاً إلى تيسير الخدمات المعرفية للمستفيدين.
وأفاد الدكتور الماجد بأن في تكليف أعضاء هيئة كبار العلماء بالفتوى في مناطق المملكة ضبطاً للفتوى من مصادرها المعتمدة والموثوقة، وذلك من مرتكزات ترسيخ قيم الوسطية والاعتدال؛ نظراً إلى أن الفتوى المنضبطة بضوابط الشرع الحنيف وفق فهم علمي راسخ من أهم ما يعزز قيم الاعتدال والاتزان. ورفع الشكر لخادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز، وولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان، على ما تلقاه الرئاسة العامة للبحوث العلمية والإفتاء وهيئة كبار العلماء من دعم ومساندة للقيام بما كلفت به في تبصير الناس بأمور دينهم.
The Grand Mufti of the Kingdom, the Chairman of the Council of Senior Scholars, the General President of Scientific Research and Ifta, Sheikh Dr. Saleh Fawzan Al-Fawzan, has assigned a number of members of the Council of Senior Scholars to issue fatwas in various regions of the Kingdom, continuing to implement the royal order to limit fatwas to members of the Council of Senior Scholars. These members include: Sheikh Dr. Yusuf Muhammad Abdulaziz Saeed, in the branches of the presidency in the regions of Tabuk and Al-Jouf, Sheikh Dr. Muhammad Muhammad Al-Mukhtar Muhammad Mazeed, in the branch of the presidency in the Medina region, Sheikh Dr. Jibril Muhammad Hassan Al-Busaili, in the branches of the presidency in the regions of Asir and Jazan, Sheikh Dr. Ghaleb Muhammad Abu Al-Qasim Hamdhi, in the branches of the presidency in the regions of Al-Baha and Najran, Sheikh Dr. Sami Muhammad Abdullah Al-Suqair, in the branches of the presidency in the regions of Qassim and Ha’il, Sheikh Dr. Bandar Abdulaziz Siraj Buleilah, in the branch of the presidency in Mecca, and Sheikh Dr. Abdulilah Muhammad Al-Mulla, in the branches of the presidency in the Eastern Province and the Northern Borders.

The Secretary-General of the Council of Senior Scholars and the General Supervisor of Administrative and Financial Affairs at the General Presidency for Scientific Research and Ifta, Sheikh Dr. Fahd Saad Al-Majid, stated: “This assignment from the Mufti comes within the framework of the royal order to limit fatwas to members of the Council of Senior Scholars and aims to ensure that fatwas are received from their approved sources, contributing to increasing the connection of the council members with the community in all regions of the Kingdom, in accordance with a vision aimed at facilitating fatwas for those seeking guidance.”
He explained that the General Presidency for Scientific Research and Ifta will work on everything that would enable the esteemed members to carry out their fatwa duties with ease, including supporting them with a research team of over 80 researchers specialized in Sharia sciences, as well as activating digital solutions.
Performance Efficiency
Sheikh Dr. Fahd Al-Majid indicated that the General Presidency for Scientific Research and Ifta, in cooperation with the Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), has begun initiatives that align strategically with the objectives of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 to enhance government performance efficiency through comprehensive digital transformation, ultimately facilitating knowledge services for beneficiaries.
Dr. Al-Majid noted that assigning members of the Council of Senior Scholars to issue fatwas in the regions of the Kingdom ensures the regulation of fatwas from their approved and trusted sources, which is one of the foundations for reinforcing the values of moderation and balance; as the fatwa regulated by the principles of the noble Sharia, according to a solid scientific understanding, is one of the most important factors that enhance the values of moderation and balance. He expressed gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and the Crown Prince, Prime Minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman, for the support and assistance received by the General Presidency for Scientific Research and Ifta and the Council of Senior Scholars to fulfill their duties in enlightening people about their religious matters.
