برعاية خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز، ونيابةً عنه، كرّم أمير منطقة الرياض الأمير فيصل بن بندر بن عبدالعزيز، الفائزين العشرة بجائزة الأميرة صيتة بنت عبدالعزيز، للتميّز في العمل الاجتماعي في دورتها الثالثة عشرة لعام 2025م، وذلك خلال الحفل الذي أقيم في مدينة الرياض.
وأشاد أمير الرياض، بما حقّقته الجائزة من تطوّر نوعي في خدمة العمل الاجتماعي عبر منهجية مؤسسية واضحة، مؤكدًا دعم المملكة لكل ما يعزز العمل الاجتماعي المنظم ويُسهم في خدمة المجتمع.
كما عبّر عن اعتزازه بما يحظى به العمل الإنساني والخيري في المملكة من اهتمام على مستوى المؤسسات والأفراد، مشيدًا بجهود القائمين على الجائزة ودورهم في تعزيز ثقافة العطاء.
وألقى وزير الموارد البشرية والتنمية الاجتماعية ورئيس مجلس أمناء الجائزة المهندس أحمد الراجحي، كلمة رفع فيها الشكر والتقدير للقيادة على رعايتها للجائزة، مثمّنًا حضور وتشريف أمير منطقة الرياض للحفل. وأوضح أن الجائزة تمثل رسالة وطنية سامية تُجسّد دقة الاختيار وملاءمة الموضوعات السنوية لاحتياجات الوطن، مشيرًا إلى ارتفاع عدد الفائزين من 133 إلى 143 فائزًا، واستفادة أكثر من 6,727 مستفيدًا ضمن ستة فروع رئيسية تشمل الإنجاز الوطني، الوقف الإسلامي، المسؤولية الاجتماعية، الأفراد، المسؤولية الاجتماعية والاستدامة البيئية.
كما استعرض الحفل فيلمًا تعريفيًا عن الجائزة وفروعها، أعقبه إعلان الأمين العام للجائزة الدكتور فهد المغلوث، عن فتح باب الترشح للدورة الرابعة عشرة تحت عنوان: «تنمية الإنسان وتعزيز التماسك المجتمعي والولاء الوطني»، مؤكدًا أن عنوان الدورة الحالية «الذكاء الاجتماعي في خدمة الإنسانية» يعكس رؤية الجائزة في تعزيز الابتكار وصناعة الأثر المستدام.
وكرّم أمير منطقة الرياض «وقف صيتة بنت عبدالعزيز» كضيف شرف نظير دوره الريادي في العمل الإنساني، حيث أكد أمين عام الوقف خالد زهران أن النجاحات المتحققة جاءت نتيجة منظومة عمل جماعي نقلت الوقف إلى مرحلة مؤسسية متقدّمة انعكست على جودة الأداء واستدامة العطاء.
وفي ختام الحفل، سلّم أمير الرياض الجوائز للفائزين في الدورة الثالثة عشرة، بحضور عدد من الأمراء والوزراء والدبلوماسيين والمسؤولين.
Under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and on his behalf, the Governor of Riyadh Region, Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, honored the ten winners of the Princess Sita bint Abdulaziz Award for Excellence in Social Work in its thirteenth edition for the year 2025, during a ceremony held in Riyadh.
The Governor of Riyadh praised the qualitative development achieved by the award in serving social work through a clear institutional methodology, affirming the Kingdom’s support for everything that enhances organized social work and contributes to serving the community.
He also expressed his pride in the attention that humanitarian and charitable work receives in the Kingdom at both institutional and individual levels, commending the efforts of those in charge of the award and their role in promoting a culture of giving.
The Minister of Human Resources and Social Development and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the award, Engineer Ahmed Al-Rajhi, delivered a speech in which he expressed gratitude and appreciation to the leadership for its sponsorship of the award, valuing the presence and honor of the Governor of Riyadh at the ceremony. He explained that the award represents a noble national message that embodies the precision of selection and the relevance of the annual topics to the needs of the nation, noting the increase in the number of winners from 133 to 143, benefiting more than 6,727 beneficiaries across six main branches including national achievement, Islamic endowment, social responsibility, individuals, social responsibility, and environmental sustainability.
The ceremony also showcased an introductory film about the award and its branches, followed by the announcement by the Secretary-General of the award, Dr. Fahd Al-Maghlouth, about the opening of nominations for the fourteenth edition under the title: “Human Development and Enhancing Community Cohesion and National Loyalty,” emphasizing that the current edition’s title “Social Intelligence in the Service of Humanity” reflects the award’s vision in promoting innovation and creating sustainable impact.
The Governor of Riyadh honored the “Sita bint Abdulaziz Endowment” as a guest of honor for its pioneering role in humanitarian work, where the Secretary-General of the endowment, Khalid Zahraan, confirmed that the achieved successes resulted from a collective work system that advanced the endowment to a sophisticated institutional stage, reflected in the quality of performance and sustainability of giving.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, the Governor of Riyadh presented the awards to the winners of the thirteenth edition, in the presence of several princes, ministers, diplomats, and officials.
