بدأ البرنامج السعودي لتنمية وإعمار اليمن تنفيذ مرحلة جديدة من مشروع توسعة وإعادة تأهيل طريق العبر بمحافظة مأرب، تمتد من «غويربان إلى المختم» بطول 40 كيلومترًا، وذلك عقب الانتهاء من تنفيذ المرحلتين الأولى والثانية من المشروع بطول 90 كيلومترًا.
ويأتي تنفيذ هذا المقطع استكمالًا لمراحل المشروع الهادف إلى تعزيز التنقل الآمن على الطريق الحيوي، ورفع كفاءة البنية التحتية؛ بما يسهم في تسهيل حركة المسافرين، والحركة التجارية والاقتصادية.
ويُعد طريق العبر من الطرق الإستراتيجية، وخط ربط دولي بين المملكة واليمن، كما يربط الطريق بين المدن والمحافظات اليمنية، محققًا استفادة لأكثر من 11 مليون مستفيد.
The Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen has begun implementing a new phase of the expansion and rehabilitation project for the Al-Abar road in Marib Governorate, extending from “Ghuwayrban to Al-Mukhtam” over a distance of 40 kilometers, following the completion of the first and second phases of the project, which spanned 90 kilometers.
This section’s implementation is a continuation of the project’s phases aimed at enhancing safe mobility on this vital road and improving the infrastructure’s efficiency; thus facilitating the movement of travelers and commercial and economic activities.
The Al-Abar road is considered one of the strategic roads and an international link between the Kingdom and Yemen, as it connects cities and governorates in Yemen, benefiting more than 11 million people.
