وكتبت مي عمر على خاصية القصص المصورة الملحقة على حسابها في «إنستغرام» قائلة: «يعني أنا يوم ما أفكر أعمل لجان هروح أشتري لجان من الهند؟ واللي عمل القصة دي برافو على الخيال فعلًا، بس خليني أقولك أنا مش محتاجة لجان، واللي اتعمل ده شغل رخيص، واللي واثق من نفسه ومن جمهوره بيركز في شغله ونجاحي هو اللي بيرد، الست موناليزا مزعل ناس كتير».
رسالة مي عمر اعتبرها متابعوها رداً مباشراً على الشائعات المتداولة، حيث أكدت ثقتها في جمهورها، مشددة على أن نجاحها الفني هو الرد الحقيقي على أي اتهامات أو حملات تستهدفها.
الست موناليزا
وتشارك مي عمر في رمضان القادم بمسلسل «الست موناليزا»، بمشاركة كل من أحمد مجدي، وفاء عامر، شيماء سيف، جوري بكر، سما إبراهيم، سوسن بدر، مريم الجندي، محمد محمود، وغيرهم.
من ناحية أخرى، تستعد مي عمر لتقديم البطولة النسائية أمام الفنان أحمد العوضي في فيلم «شمشون ودليلة»، المقرر طرحه قريباً في جميع دور العرض، إخراج رؤوف السيد، وتدور أحداثه في إطار أكشن لايت كوميدي.
