شدّد الرئيس المصري عبدالفتاح السيسي على ضرورة المتابعة اليومية والمستمرة لتوافر السلع في مختلف المنافذ والمعارض على مستوى الجمهورية ضمن الاستعدادات الجارية لاستقبال شهر رمضان المبارك، مع ضمان الالتزام بالأسعار المعلنة ونسب التخفيضات وجودة المنتجات المطروحة؛ ومحاسبة من سيغالي في الأسعار، مشدداً على ضرورة استخدام الدولة لكل آليات ضبط السوق والأسعار لتفادي غلاء الأسعار أو المضاربات، خصوصاً بالنسبة للحوم البيضاء، وبما يحقق استقرار الأسواق ويخفف الأعباء عن المواطنين، مع الأخذ في الاعتبار معدلات الاستهلاك خلال الشهر الكريم.
وبحسب بيان صادر عن رئاسة الجمهورية، اليوم (الثلاثاء)، وافق السيسي على إطلاق مشروع «كاري أونCarry On» كمشروع قومي، وذلك في إطار توحيد العلامة التجارية للمجمعات والمنافذ التموينية، كما وجّه باستمرار المتابعة الميدانية والتنسيق الكامل بين الجهات المعنية لضمان نجاح منظومة توفير السلع وانتظام عملها بكفاءة في جميع أنحاء الجمهورية، وضمان وصول الدعم لمستحقيه.
واطلع السيسي خلال اجتماعه مع رئيس الوزراء الدكتور مصطفى مدبولي ووزراء التموين والزراعة ومدير جهاز مستقبل مصر للتنمية المستدامة، على الاستعدادات الجارية لاستقبال شهر رمضان المبارك، خصوصاً ما يتعلق بتوافر السلع الغذائية بجودة عالية وأسعار مناسبة، إذ أوضح وزير التموين أن جميع السلع الأساسية متوفرة بكميات كافية، وأن معارض «أهلاً رمضان» تقدم تخفيضات تراوح بين 15 و25% على مختلف السلع الغذائية، فضلاً عن تجهيز وتوزيع 2.5 مليون كرتون وحقيبة رمضانية.
وأضاف المتحدث الرسمي السفير محمد الشناوي أن الاجتماع تناول كذلك تطورات منظومة الأمن الغذائي، إذ اطّلع السيسي على موقف المخزون الإستراتيجي من السلع الغذائية الأساسية، وذلك في إطار التخطيط المسبق للحفاظ على أرصدة الدولة منها، وسبل مواجهة التحديات التي تواجه الأمن الغذائي على إثر الأحداث الإقليمية، ومجالات التحول الرقمي في منظومة الأمن الغذائي.
ووجّه الرئيس المصري بضرورة المحافظة على استمرارية المخزون الإستراتيجي وتعزيزه، ومواصلة العمل على تحقيق الاكتفاء الذاتي من السلع الزراعية والثروة الحيوانية والداجنة، وتحديث السلالات الزراعية بالتعاون والتنسيق بين الوزارات المعنية وجهاز مستقبل مصر للتنمية المستدامة.
الاجتماع تناول كذلك تطور آليات تفعيل البورصة السلعية ودورها في تعزيز الأمن الغذائي وضمان استدامة توفير السلع الأساسية بأسعار مناسبة، مع تحقيق أسعار عادلة للسلع الإستراتيجية بما يحمي المنتجين والمستهلكين على حد سواء، كما تمت مناقشة التجارب الدولية الناجحة في إدارة البورصات السلعية، إذ أكد أهمية الإسراع في تفعيل البورصة السلعية، واستخدام مصر كمركز لوجستي إقليمي لتجارة السلع الإستراتيجية، بما يعزز مكانتها الاقتصادية إقليمياً ودولياً، كما تم التأكيد على ضرورة وأهمية مواصلة التعاون والتنسيق بين وزارتي التموين والتجارة الداخلية والزراعة واستصلاح الأراضي، وجهاز مستقبل مصر للتنمية المستدامة، وذلك لضمان تحقيق الأمن الغذائي.
The Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi emphasized the necessity of daily and continuous monitoring of the availability of goods in various outlets and exhibitions across the republic as part of the ongoing preparations to welcome the holy month of Ramadan, ensuring adherence to the announced prices, discount rates, and the quality of the offered products; and holding accountable those who inflate prices. He stressed the need for the state to utilize all mechanisms to regulate the market and prices to avoid price hikes or speculation, especially regarding white meats, in a way that achieves market stability and alleviates burdens on citizens, taking into account consumption rates during the holy month.
According to a statement issued by the Presidency today (Tuesday), El-Sisi approved the launch of the “Carry On” project as a national initiative, as part of unifying the brand for supply chains and outlets. He also directed the continuation of field monitoring and full coordination among the relevant authorities to ensure the success of the goods supply system and its efficient operation throughout the republic, ensuring that support reaches those entitled to it.
During his meeting with Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly and the Ministers of Supply and Agriculture, as well as the Director of the Future Egypt for Sustainable Development Authority, El-Sisi reviewed the ongoing preparations for the holy month of Ramadan, particularly regarding the availability of high-quality food products at appropriate prices. The Minister of Supply clarified that all essential goods are available in sufficient quantities, and the “Welcome Ramadan” exhibitions offer discounts ranging from 15% to 25% on various food items, in addition to preparing and distributing 2.5 million Ramadan boxes and bags.
The official spokesperson, Ambassador Mohamed El-Shenawy, added that the meeting also addressed developments in the food security system, as El-Sisi was briefed on the status of the strategic stock of essential food commodities, as part of the advance planning to maintain state reserves of these commodities and ways to face the challenges to food security resulting from regional events, as well as areas of digital transformation in the food security system.
The Egyptian President directed the necessity of maintaining and enhancing the continuity of the strategic stock, continuing efforts to achieve self-sufficiency in agricultural products and livestock, and updating agricultural strains in cooperation and coordination with the relevant ministries and the Future Egypt for Sustainable Development Authority.
The meeting also discussed the development of mechanisms to activate the commodity exchange and its role in enhancing food security and ensuring the sustainable provision of essential goods at appropriate prices, while achieving fair prices for strategic commodities to protect both producers and consumers. Successful international experiences in managing commodity exchanges were also discussed, emphasizing the importance of expediting the activation of the commodity exchange and using Egypt as a regional logistics hub for trading strategic commodities, thereby enhancing its economic position regionally and internationally. The necessity and importance of continuing cooperation and coordination between the Ministries of Supply, Internal Trade, Agriculture, and Land Reclamation, and the Future Egypt for Sustainable Development Authority were also emphasized to ensure food security.
