أعلن نادي الاتحاد سفر محترفه الألباني ماريو ميتاي إلى بلاده، قبل المواجهة المرتقبة أمام الهلال المقررة السبت القادم ضمن منافسات دوري روشن السعودي، وذلك بسبب وفاة جدته.

وقال نادي الاتحاد في بيان عبر حسابه على منصة «إكس»: «يتقدم مجلس إدارة النادي بخالص العزاء وصادق المواساة إلى لاعب الفريق الأول لكرة القدم ماريو ميتاي في وفاة جدته».
وأوضح البيان أن اللاعب غادر إلى بلاده عقب نهاية مباراة الفريق أمام السد القطري في دوري أبطال آسيا للنخبة، أمس (الثلاثاء)، وذلك بعد حصوله على إذن من الجهازين الفني والإداري.

ولم يكشف الاتحاد عن موعد عودة ميتاي إلى صفوف الفريق، ما يزيد الغموض حول موقفه من الكلاسيكو ضد الهلال.

The club stated in a statement via its account on the “X” platform: “The Board of Directors of the club extends its heartfelt condolences and sincere sympathy to the first-team football player Mario Mitaj on the death of his grandmother.”
The statement clarified that the player left for his country after the team’s match against Al-Sadd of Qatar in the AFC Champions League yesterday (Tuesday), after obtaining permission from the technical and administrative staff.
Uncertainty About His Status for the Al-Hilal Match
Al-Ittihad did not disclose the date of Mitaj’s return to the team, which increases the uncertainty regarding his status for the classic match against Al-Hilal.

The Albanian left-back has participated in 23 matches wearing the Al-Ittihad jersey in various competitions this season, during which he scored one goal and provided two assists.
