في عالم سريع الإيقاع، وثورة صناعية متجددة، وذكاء فائق يعد بواقع جديد يقف على أعتابه الإنسان؛ هل يلوح له في الأفق نعيم أم جحيم؟ لقد وصل الإبداع بالإنسان إلى صناعة ذكاء يوازيه أو يفوقه، فاتحاً آفاقاً واسعة للأعمال والفن والشعر والبحث والتعليم. وصار لهذا الذكاء بصمة في كل مكان. لكن، ماذا عن بصمة الإنسان؟
في قطاع الإبداع، إعلاماً كان أم إعلاناً، تزايد الاهتمام بمنتج الذكاء الاصطناعي الفني – صوتاً ونصاً وصورة – بينما يبدو التراجع واضحاً في دور الإنسان في العملية الإبداعية التجارية وصناعة المحتوى الاتصالي المؤسسي؛ إذ أصبحت قنوات الجهات والمؤسسات تضخ المحتوى بكثافة غير مسبوقة، وبقدرات آلية تحاكي الإبداع البشري بدقة تجعل التمييز بينهما عسيراً.
فتح هذا التحول فرصة ذهبية للوكالات الإبداعية ومؤسسات الصحافة الرقمية لإنتاج المزيد، وخفض الأسعار، وتصغير فرق العمل. فاتجهت الميزانيات للاستثمار في امتلاك نماذج الذكاء الاصطناعي، مقابل تقلص مساحة القرار الإبداعي البشري، وإنهاك اليد الإنسانية المشغلة لهذه الأنظمة وحرق طاقاتها كما تحرق «التوكنز».
لقد أصبح من الطبيعي المطالبة بابتكار ثلاثة إلى أربعة نماذج إبداعية أولية للمهمة الواحدة، لمجرد الاطلاع على القدرات الممكنة! وعلى الأغلب، لن يعجب صاحب الطلب أي منها، ليطلب مجموعة «أولية» أخرى في وقت قياسي يجعل من المستحيل إتقان العمل بصورة بشرية. صار المبدع مؤتمتاً على تنفيذ أكبر عدد من المهام، بأقل قدر من الأخطاء، مع تحمل كامل المسؤولية؛ وحرم من قراره الإبداعي، ومن إمكانية وضع بصمته التي تستحق أن يتحمل مسؤوليتها.
ما بين الثورة الصناعية الرابعة والخامسة
ليس جديداً على العالم هذا الاستغلال؛ فعندما دخلت الآلات الثقيلة إلى المصانع لم يرتح الإنسان، بل خلقت طبقية رأسمالية جديدة وتغير تعريف الحياة اليومية والاجتماعية والمهنية. وصار بعض أصحاب الأعمال لا يهتمون إلا بمكاسبهم على حساب الوقت الذي حظي به الإنسان نتيجة دخول الآلة، فصار مطالباً بإنتاجية أعلى لتعظيم الأرباح.
ويفسر هذا مفهوم رئيس في كلاسيكيات الاقتصاد الماركسي: «تكثيف العمل»؛ وهو أن يطالب العامل بإنتاج المزيد ضمن نفس نطاق الوقت الذي كان ينتج فيه أقل وبذات الأجر. يدعى هذا بالتكثيف الكمي، وهناك تكثيف آخر نوعي، ولكني أركز على الكمي لما ألمس فيه من ثغرات خطيرة في عصرنا تلتف على تشريعات العمل وحقوق العمال، وفي هيكلة بيئات العمل والأجور والمهام المناطة بكل موظف.
الصراع بين الإنتاج الإنساني والإنتاج التوليدي للإبداع
لم أكن يوماً من المتخوفين من قدرة الذكاء التوليدي على استبدال الفن البشري، ولا أظنني سأفعل؛ إذ يمكنني من واقع التخصص التفريق والتقييم وتقدير الإبداع المؤتمت ومعرفة ما يقف خلفه من روح وشعور إنساني. فالذكاء الاصطناعي ليس سوى أداة فنية جديدة، يمكن تشبيهها بالريشة الرقمية في «فوتوشوب» عوضاً عن الريشة الفيزيائية التقليدية.
لكن في جانب آخر، يعتقد البعض أن الذكاء الاصطناعي أقدر وأجدر على تقييم العمل الإبداعي! فهو الذي يعرف ما يدور في ذهن صاحب طلب التقييم، ويتحيز معه ويؤيد مخاوفه أو تطلعاته دائماً.
إن ما جعلني أفكر في هذا الأمر ملياً هو ملاحظتي للتراجع الصحي لدى موظفين مؤتمتين على استخدام الذكاء الاصطناعي؛ إذ لم يعد بإمكانهم أخذ يوم راحة أسبوعية ولا أمسية منزلية هنية إلا ويأتيهم تكليف جديد بإنتاج المزيد لتلبية هذا الطلب المفرط والعشوائي.
فمن ينصف موظفاً يواجه ضغوطاً وظيفية متواصلة، وتكليفات مكثفة في أوقات ضيقة، قد تنعكس سلباً على صحته النفسية والجسدية.
كيف جعلنا من الإنسان آلة، ومن الآلة إنساناً يحكم ويقدر قيمة العمل والإبداع؟ وأين سنصل إذا استمرت ممارسات بعض أصحاب الأعمال في استنزاف القدرات البشرية وتسخيرها لتحقيق مصالحهم؟ وكيف نتمكن من تطوير الأنظمة واللوائح بحيث لا يحتالون عليها؟ ومتى نعيد الاعتراف بالإنسان كإنسان في عالم رأسمالي قائم على الذكاء الاصطناعي؟
In a fast-paced world, with a renewed industrial revolution and superintelligence promising a new reality on the doorstep of humanity; does paradise or hell loom on the horizon? Human creativity has reached a point where it can create intelligence that matches or even surpasses it, opening vast horizons for business, art, poetry, research, and education. This intelligence has left its mark everywhere. But what about the mark of humanity?
In the creative sector, whether in media or advertising, interest in the product of artistic artificial intelligence—voice, text, and image—has increased, while the role of humans in the commercial creative process and institutional content production appears to be clearly declining; as channels of entities and institutions are pumping content with unprecedented intensity, and with automated capabilities that mimic human creativity with such precision that distinguishing between them becomes difficult.
This transformation has opened a golden opportunity for creative agencies and digital journalism institutions to produce more, lower prices, and reduce team sizes. Budgets have shifted towards investing in owning artificial intelligence models, while the space for human creative decision-making has shrunk, exhausting the human operators of these systems and burning their energies as tokens are burned.
It has become normal to demand the creation of three to four initial creative models for a single task, just to explore the possible capabilities! Most likely, the requester will not be satisfied with any of them, leading to a request for another “initial” set in a record time that makes it impossible to master the work in a human way. The creator has become automated to execute the largest number of tasks, with the least amount of errors, while bearing full responsibility; deprived of their creative decision-making and the opportunity to leave a mark that they deserve to be held accountable for.
Between the Fourth and Fifth Industrial Revolutions
This exploitation is not new to the world; when heavy machinery entered factories, humans did not find rest, but rather a new capitalist class was created, and the definitions of daily, social, and professional life changed. Some business owners became only concerned with their profits at the expense of the time that humans gained due to the introduction of machines, leading to demands for higher productivity to maximize profits.
This is explained by a key concept in Marxist economic classics: “intensification of labor”; which means that workers are demanded to produce more within the same time frame they previously produced less, for the same wage. This is called quantitative intensification, and there is another qualitative intensification, but I focus on the quantitative because I see serious gaps in our era that circumvent labor laws and workers’ rights, and in the structuring of work environments, wages, and the tasks assigned to each employee.
The Conflict Between Human Production and Generative Production of Creativity
I have never been one to fear the ability of generative intelligence to replace human art, nor do I think I will; as I can, from my specialization, differentiate, evaluate, and appreciate automated creativity and understand the spirit and human feeling behind it. Artificial intelligence is merely a new artistic tool, akin to a digital brush in “Photoshop” instead of a traditional physical brush.
However, on another side, some believe that artificial intelligence is more capable and deserving of evaluating creative work! It knows what is on the mind of the requester and aligns with them, always supporting their fears or aspirations.
What made me think deeply about this matter is my observation of the unhealthy decline among employees automated to use artificial intelligence; they can no longer take a weekly day off or enjoy a peaceful evening at home without being assigned a new task to produce more to meet this excessive and random demand.
Who will do justice to an employee facing continuous job pressures and intensive assignments in tight timeframes, which may negatively impact their mental and physical health?
How did we turn humans into machines, and machines into beings that judge and assess the value of work and creativity? Where will we end up if some business owners continue to drain human capacities and exploit them for their own interests? How can we develop systems and regulations so that they cannot circumvent them? And when will we restore recognition of humanity as human in a capitalist world based on artificial intelligence?
