كشف الفنان المصري أحمد عز إمكانية تقديم جزء ثانٍ من فيلمه الجديد «الكلاب السبعة»، المقرر طرحه في دور العرض العربية يوم 27 مايو الجاري، موضحًا أن الفكرة كانت مطروحة منذ المراحل الأولى للتعاقد على العمل، إلا أن تنفيذها سيعتمد بشكل أساسي على نجاح الفيلم جماهيريًا وردود الفعل بعد عرضه.
وجاءت تصريحات أحمد عز خلال المؤتمر الصحفي الذي أُقيم الخميس في القاهرة بحضور أبطال وصُنّاع الفيلم، حيث أشار إلى أن المشروع تم تطويره منذ البداية برؤية تسمح بامتداده سينمائيًا في حال حقق النجاح المتوقع لدى الجمهور.
كما تطرق عز إلى الجدل المرتبط بمفاهيم «الأعلى أجرًا» و«الأكثر تحقيقًا للإيرادات»، مؤكدًا أن النجاح الحقيقي بالنسبة له لا يُقاس بالأرقام فقط، بل بقدرة العمل الفني على البقاء في ذاكرة الجمهور لسنوات طويلة وتحقيق أثر حقيقي يتجاوز شباك التذاكر.
وأوضح أن القيمة الفنية والاستمرارية هما المعيار الأهم في مسيرته، مشيرًا إلى أن الفيلم الناجح هو ما يظل حاضرًا لدى المشاهد حتى بعد مرور سنوات، وليس فقط ما يحقق إيرادات مرتفعة وقت عرضه.
وأضاف أن استمرارية أي فنان في صناعة السينما تعتمد أيضًا على تحقيق توازن دقيق بين الطموح الفني والحسابات الإنتاجية، بما يحافظ على ثقة المنتجين واستمرار ضخ الاستثمارات في الأعمال السينمائية.
وتحدث أحمد عز كذلك عن النجاح الكبير الذي حققه فيلم «ولاد رزق 3» على مستوى الإيرادات، مؤكدًا أن تصدر شباك التذاكر لا يعني بالضرورة أن العمل هو الأفضل، لكنه شدد على حرصه الدائم على تقديم أعمال ترضي الجمهور، حتى لو تطلب الأمر تحمل تكاليف إضافية لدعم مشاريع يراها مختلفة وطموحة.
وأشار إلى أن ما يشغله في المرحلة الحالية هو تقديم أعمال تترك أثرًا طويل المدى لدى المشاهد العربي، وأن يكون امتدادًا لجيل النجوم الذين صنعوا تاريخ السينما المصرية والعربية بأعمال ما زالت خالدة في الذاكرة.
The Egyptian artist Ahmed Ezz revealed the possibility of presenting a second part of his new film “The Seven Dogs,” which is set to be released in Arab theaters on May 27, explaining that the idea was proposed since the early stages of contracting for the project, but its implementation will primarily depend on the film’s commercial success and the audience’s reactions after its screening.
Ahmed Ezz’s statements came during a press conference held on Thursday in Cairo, attended by the film’s stars and creators, where he pointed out that the project was developed from the beginning with a vision that allows for its cinematic extension if it achieves the expected success with the audience.
Ezz also touched on the controversy related to the concepts of “highest paid” and “highest grossing,” emphasizing that true success for him is not measured by numbers alone, but by the ability of the artistic work to remain in the audience’s memory for many years and to have a real impact that goes beyond box office earnings.
He clarified that artistic value and continuity are the most important criteria in his career, noting that a successful film is one that remains present in the viewer’s mind even after many years, not just one that achieves high revenues at the time of its release.
He added that the continuity of any artist in the film industry also depends on achieving a delicate balance between artistic ambition and production calculations, which maintains the confidence of producers and the continued flow of investments in cinematic works.
Ahmed Ezz also spoke about the great success achieved by the film “Awlad Rizk 3” in terms of revenues, confirming that topping the box office does not necessarily mean that the work is the best, but he stressed his constant commitment to presenting works that satisfy the audience, even if it requires bearing additional costs to support projects he sees as different and ambitious.
He indicated that what occupies him at this stage is presenting works that leave a long-term impact on the Arab viewer, and to be an extension of the generation of stars who made the history of Egyptian and Arab cinema with works that are still immortal in memory.
