وكان أرسنال قد حسم لقب «البريميرليغ» بعد غياب 22 عاماً، عقب تعادل منافسه مانشستر سيتي مع بورنموث في الجولة الماضية.

افتتح غابرييل جيسوس التسجيل لصالح أرسنال في الدقيقة 24، ثم ضاعف نونو مادويكي تقدم «المدفعجية» بهدف ثانٍ في الدقيقة 42، قبل أن يُقلص جان فيليب ماتيتا النتيجة لصالح كريستال بالاس قبل دقيقة واحدة من نهاية الوقت الأصلي.
ترتيب الفريقين
بهذه النتيجة، رفع أرسنال رصيده إلى 85 نقطة في صدارة ترتيب «البريميرليغ»، بفارق 7 نقاط عن أقرب منافسيه مانشستر سيتي صاحب المركز الثاني.
في المقابل، تجمد رصيد كريستال بالاس عند 45 نقطة في المركز الـ15، بعد تلقيه الهزيمة الـ15 هذا الموسم.

On the other hand, Crystal Palace’s points total remained at 45 in 15th place, after suffering their 15th defeat this season.
