توقع المركز الوطني للأرصاد في تقريره عن حالة الطقس اليوم (السبت)، استمرار هطول أمطار رعدية متوسطة إلى غزيرة، تؤدي إلى جريان السيول، مصحوبة بزخات من البرد ورياح نشطة مثيرة للأتربة والغبار، قد تتسبب في شبه انعدام مدى الرؤية الأفقية على أجزاء من 7 مناطق بالمملكة.
وأوضح المركز أن الحالة المطرية تشمل أجزاء من مناطق جازان، وعسير، والباحة، ومكة المكرمة، وحائل، والجوف، والحدود الشمالية، فيما يُتوقع هطول أمطار خفيفة إلى متوسطة على أجزاء من مناطق المدينة المنورة، وتبوك، والشرقية.
ضباب على المناطق الساحلية
وأشار التقرير إلى احتمال تكوّن الضباب خلال ساعات الليل والصباح الباكر على الأجزاء الساحلية من مناطق المدينة المنورة، ومكة المكرمة، والمنطقة الشرقية، ما قد يؤدي إلى تدنّي مدى الرؤية الأفقية.
البحر الأحمر.. أمواج تتجاوز مترين
وفيما يتعلق بحالة البحر الأحمر، توقع المركز أن تكون الرياح السطحية شمالية غربية إلى شمالية، بسرعة تتراوح بين 10 و36 كيلومتراً في الساعة على الجزأين الشمالي والأوسط، وجنوبية شرقية إلى شمالية شرقية بسرعة تتراوح بين 10 و35 كيلومتراً في الساعة على الجزء الجنوبي، تصل إلى أكثر من 50 كيلومتراً في الساعة مع تكوّن السحب الرعدية الممطرة.
ويتراوح ارتفاع الموج بين نصف متر ومتر ونصف، وقد يتجاوز مترين مع تكوّن السحب الرعدية الممطرة على الجزء الجنوبي، فيما تكون حالة البحر خفيفة إلى متوسطة الموج، تصل إلى مائجة في المناطق المتأثرة بالسحب الرعدية.
الخليج العربي.. رياح معتدلة وبحر خفيف الموج
أما في الخليج العربي، فتكون الرياح السطحية جنوبية شرقية إلى جنوبية غربية، بسرعة تتراوح بين 10 و24 كيلومتراً في الساعة على الجزء الشمالي، وشمالية غربية إلى غربية بسرعة تتراوح بين 10 و28 كيلومتراً في الساعة على الجزء الجنوبي.
ويتراوح ارتفاع الموج بين نصف متر ومتر، فيما تكون حالة البحر خفيفة الموج.
The National Center of Meteorology forecasted in its weather report today (Saturday) that moderate to heavy thunderstorms will continue, leading to flash floods, accompanied by showers of hail and active winds stirring up dust and sand, which may cause near-zero horizontal visibility in parts of 7 regions in the Kingdom.
The center explained that the rainy conditions will affect parts of the regions of Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha, Makkah, Ha’il, Al-Jawf, and the Northern Borders, while light to moderate rain is expected in parts of the regions of Madinah, Tabuk, and the Eastern Province.
Fog in Coastal Areas
The report indicated the possibility of fog formation during the night and early morning hours in the coastal areas of the regions of Madinah, Makkah, and the Eastern Province, which may lead to reduced horizontal visibility.
The Red Sea.. Waves Exceeding Two Meters
Regarding the condition of the Red Sea, the center expected the surface winds to be northwesterly to northerly, at speeds ranging from 10 to 36 kilometers per hour in the northern and central parts, and southeasterly to northeasterly at speeds ranging from 10 to 35 kilometers per hour in the southern part, reaching over 50 kilometers per hour with the formation of thunderstorm clouds.
Wave heights will range between half a meter and one and a half meters, and may exceed two meters with the formation of thunderstorm clouds in the southern part, while the sea condition will be light to moderate, reaching choppy in areas affected by thunderstorm clouds.
The Arabian Gulf.. Moderate Winds and Light Waves
In the Arabian Gulf, the surface winds will be southeasterly to southwesterly, at speeds ranging from 10 to 24 kilometers per hour in the northern part, and northwesterly to westerly at speeds ranging from 10 to 28 kilometers per hour in the southern part.
Wave heights will range between half a meter and one meter, while the sea condition will be light.
