أعلن نجم منتخب ألمانيا الشاب لينارت كارل غيابه رسمياً عن بطولة كأس العالم 2026 المقررة في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية وكندا والمكسيك هذا الشهر، بسبب الإصابة.
وأُصيب كارل بتمزق عضلي خلال الحصة التدريبية الأخيرة قبل المباراة الودية الدولية المقررة أمام المنتخب الأمريكي، اليوم (السبت)، ضمن استعدادات المنتخبين للمونديال.
رسالة مؤثرة
وكتب كارل عبر حسابه على موقع «إنستغرام»: «لا أدري من أين أبدأ، لكن غيابي عن أكبر بطولة يؤلمني بشدة، لقد بذلت قصارى جهدي لأكون جاهزاً لكأس العالم، لكن للأسف، غالباً ما تحدث الإصابات في أسوأ الأوقات».
وأضاف: «أتمنى لمنتخب بلادي كل التوفيق في كأس العالم، وسأدعمهم بكل تأكيد في كل لحظة.. سأعود أقوى، أعدكم».
موسم استثنائي
وقدم كارل، البالغ من العمر 18 عاماً، موسماً مميزاً مع بايرن ميونخ، إذ ساهم في تتويج الفريق البافاري بالثنائية المحلية، وبلوغ نصف نهائي دوري أبطال أوروبا.
بديل كارل
واستدعى مدرب منتخب ألمانيا يوليان ناغلسمان لاعب وسط لايبزيغ أسان ويدراوغ لتعويض غياب لينارت كارل.
وقال ناغلسمان إن غياب كارل عن كأس العالم يمثل صدمة كبيرة له وللمنتخب أيضاً، مشيراً إلى أن ما يخفف من حدة الصدمة هو صغر سن اللاعب، إذ لا يزال أمامه العديد من البطولات والفرص في المستقبل.
Young Germany national team star Linart Karl has officially announced his absence from the 2026 World Cup scheduled to take place in the United States, Canada, and Mexico this month, due to injury.
Karl suffered a muscle tear during the last training session before the international friendly match against the American team today (Saturday), as part of both teams’ preparations for the World Cup.
Touching Message
Karl wrote on his Instagram account: “I don’t know where to start, but my absence from the biggest tournament pains me deeply. I did my best to be ready for the World Cup, but unfortunately, injuries often happen at the worst times.”
He added: “I wish my national team all the best in the World Cup, and I will definitely support them every moment… I will come back stronger, I promise you.”
Exceptional Season
Karl, who is 18 years old, had an outstanding season with Bayern Munich, contributing to the Bavarian team’s domestic double and reaching the semifinals of the UEFA Champions League.
Karl’s Replacement
Germany national team coach Julian Nagelsmann has called up Leipzig midfielder Asan Wiedraugh to replace Linart Karl’s absence.
Nagelsmann stated that Karl’s absence from the World Cup is a significant shock for him and the team as well, noting that what eases the shock is the player’s young age, as he still has many tournaments and opportunities ahead of him in the future.
