أعلن الاتحاد الجزائري لكرة القدم، اليوم (الأحد)، تمديد عقد مدرب منتخب «الخضر» فلاديمير بيتكوفيتش، قبل أيام قليلة من انطلاق بطولة كأس العالم 2026 المقررة في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية وكندا والمكسيك.
وقال الاتحاد الجزائري، في بيان عبر موقعه الإلكتروني، إنه مدد عقد فلاديمير بيتكوفيتش حتى 31 يوليو 2028.
نتائج مميزة
ومنذ توليه القيادة الفنية للمنتخب الجزائري عام 2024، حقق المدرب السويسري نتائج لافتة، إذ قاد «الخضر» في 28 مباراة، حقق خلالها 21 انتصاراً مقابل 4 تعادلات و3 هزائم فقط، كما سجل المنتخب 67 هدفاً واستقبلت شباكه 22 هدفاً.
وتحت قيادة فلاديمير بيتكوفيتش ضمن المنتخب الجزائري تأهله إلى نهائيات كأس العالم 2026، واضعاً بذلك حداً لغيابه عن نسختي 2018 و2022، كما بلغ الدور ربع النهائي لكأس أمم أفريقيا 2025، بعد خروجين متتاليين من الدور الأول في نسختي 2021 و2023.

ويقع منتخب الجزائر في المجموعة العاشرة ببطولة كأس العالم 2026، التي تنطلق في 11 يونيو الجاري، إلى جانب منتخبات الأرجنتين والأردن والنمسا.
The Algerian Football Federation announced today (Sunday) the extension of the contract of the national team coach, Vladimir Petković, just a few days before the start of the 2026 World Cup scheduled to take place in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
The Algerian Federation stated in a statement on its website that it has extended Vladimir Petković’s contract until July 31, 2028.

Since taking over the technical leadership of the Algerian national team in 2024, the Swiss coach has achieved remarkable results, leading the “Greens” in 28 matches, with 21 victories, 4 draws, and only 3 defeats. The team scored 67 goals and conceded 22.
Under Vladimir Petković’s leadership, the Algerian national team secured its qualification for the 2026 World Cup, thus ending its absence from the 2018 and 2022 editions. The team also reached the quarter-finals of the Africa Cup of Nations 2025, after two consecutive exits in the first round in the 2021 and 2023 editions.

The Algerian national team is placed in Group 10 of the 2026 World Cup, which kicks off on June 11, alongside the teams from Argentina, Jordan, and Austria.
