تنطلق، اليوم (الأحد)، الاختبارات التحريرية لنهاية الفصل الدراسي الثاني للعام الدراسي الحالي 1447هـ، التي تمثّل نهاية العام الدراسي كاملاً في جميع مدارس التعليم العام بمدارس البنين والبنات في مناطق ومحافظات المملكة عدا إدارات التعليم في مكة المكرمة والمدينة المنورة وجدة والطائف، التي سيؤدي طلابها اختباراتهم الأحد القادم. ويواجه الطلاب إشكالية المواءمة ما بين المذاكرة ومشاهدة مباريات كأس العالم التي انطلقت مبارياتها، الخميس الماضي، تزامناً مع بدء الاختبارات.
وأبدى العاملون في الميدان التربوي والتعليمي مخاوفهم من تأثير مشاهدة المباريات على التحصيل الدراسي للطلبة، خصوصاً أن مواعيد بعض المباريات في كثير من الأيام تبدأ من الـ4:00 عصراً حتى الـ7:00 صباحاً، وهي الفترة المفضلة للمذاكرة ومراجعة المناهج الدراسية.
وأشاروا إلى أنه يتعيّن على أولياء الأمور متابعة أبنائهم خلال فترة الاختبارات التي لا تتجاوز في مجملها 5 أيام.
من جانب آخر، شدّدت وزارة التعليم على المدارس في المرحلتين الابتدائية والمتوسطة على التقيد بجدول الاختبارات المركزية، التي نصّت على أن يكون اليوم الأول اختباراً واليوم الذي يليه دراسة معتادة، وهكذا حتى نهاية الاختبارات في المواد المشمولة بالاختبارات.
وأكدت الوزارة، ضرورة إنهاء أعمال التصحيح والمراجعة والرصد في نظام «نور» الإلكتروني فور الانتهاء من الاختبارات يومياً؛ لضمان إعلان النتائج النهائية في مواعيدها المحددة، وعمل جدول الدور الثاني للطلاب والطالبات المكملين في المواد الدراسية قبل إغلاق أعمال الفصل الدراسي الثاني ونهاية العام رسمياً مع بدء الإجازة الصيفية.
Today (Sunday), the written exams for the end of the second semester of the current academic year 1447 AH begin, which represent the end of the entire academic year in all public education schools for boys and girls in the regions and governorates of the Kingdom, except for the education departments in Mecca, Medina, Jeddah, and Taif, where their students will take their exams next Sunday. Students are facing the challenge of balancing studying with watching the World Cup matches that started last Thursday, coinciding with the beginning of the exams.
Educational and teaching professionals have expressed their concerns about the impact of watching the matches on students’ academic performance, especially since the timings of some matches on many days start from 4:00 PM until 7:00 AM, which is the preferred time for studying and reviewing the curriculum.
They pointed out that parents should monitor their children during the exam period, which does not exceed a total of 5 days.
On another note, the Ministry of Education emphasized to schools in the elementary and intermediate stages the importance of adhering to the central exam schedule, which stipulates that the first day is for exams and the following day is for regular study, and so on until the end of the exams in the subjects included in the assessments.
The ministry confirmed the necessity of completing the correction, review, and recording work in the “Noor” electronic system immediately after finishing the exams daily, to ensure that the final results are announced on their scheduled dates, and to prepare the second round schedule for students who need to retake subjects before officially closing the second semester and the end of the year with the start of the summer vacation.
