أعرب الأمين العام لمجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية، جاسم محمد البديوي، اليوم (الخميس)، عن إدانته واستنكاره بأشد العبارات لتكرار الاعتداءات الإيرانية العدائية على مملكة البحرين ودولة الكويت والمملكة الأردنية الهاشمية، مؤكداً أن تمادي النظام الإيراني في استهداف المنشآت المدنية والبنية التحتية الحيوية يقوض الجهود الدولية والإقليمية الرامية إلى ترسيخ الأمن والسلام وحل الأزمة.
وشدد البديوي على دعم مجلس التعاون لكافة الإجراءات التي تتخذها مملكة البحرين ودولة الكويت والمملكة الأردنية الهاشمية لتعزيز أمنها وصون سيادتها وسلامة أراضيها.
من جهتها، أعربت وزارة الخارجية القطرية عن إدانتها لتجدد الهجمات الإيرانية على الأردن والبحرين والكويت، مؤكدة أن تلك الهجمات تمثل خرقاً فاضحاً للقانون الدولي.
ودعت الخارجية القطرية إلى ضرورة تجنيب المنطقة تبعات هذه الهجمات غير المبررة، والعمل على خفض التصعيد لاستعادة الأمن والاستقرار إقليمياً ودولياً، مجددة تضامن دولة قطر الكامل مع الأردن والبحرين والكويت، ودعمها لكل ما تتخذه من إجراءات للحفاظ على سيادتها وأمنها.
وكانت القيادة العامة للقوات المسلحة الأردنية قد أعلنت اعتراض وإسقاط 20 صاروخاً أُطلقت من إيران، موضحة أن عملية الاعتراض نتج عنها سقوط عدد من الشظايا دون وقوع أي إصابات بشرية أو أضرار مادية.
فيما قالت وزارة الداخلية البحرينية إن طفلة تبلغ من العمر 11 عاماً تعرضت لإصابات بسيطة جراء العدوان الإيراني الآثم على البحرين، مؤكدة احتراق مركبات وتضرر منازل في المنامة ومدينة حمد نتيجة سقوط شظايا مسيّرات.
The Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Jassim Mohammed Al-Budaiwi, expressed today (Thursday) his condemnation and denunciation in the strongest terms of the repeated Iranian hostile attacks on the Kingdom of Bahrain, the State of Kuwait, and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, affirming that the Iranian regime’s persistence in targeting civilian facilities and vital infrastructure undermines international and regional efforts aimed at establishing security and peace and resolving the crisis.
Al-Budaiwi emphasized the GCC’s support for all measures taken by the Kingdom of Bahrain, the State of Kuwait, and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to enhance their security, preserve their sovereignty, and ensure the safety of their territories.
For its part, the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its condemnation of the renewed Iranian attacks on Jordan, Bahrain, and Kuwait, affirming that these attacks represent a blatant violation of international law.
The Qatari Foreign Ministry called for the necessity of shielding the region from the repercussions of these unjustified attacks and working to de-escalate tensions to restore security and stability regionally and internationally, reiterating the State of Qatar’s full solidarity with Jordan, Bahrain, and Kuwait, and its support for all measures they take to maintain their sovereignty and security.
The General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces announced that it intercepted and shot down 20 missiles launched from Iran, clarifying that the interception resulted in debris falling without any human injuries or material damage.
Meanwhile, the Bahraini Ministry of Interior stated that an 11-year-old girl sustained minor injuries due to the Iranian aggression against Bahrain, confirming the burning of vehicles and damage to homes in Manama and Hamad City as a result of falling debris from drones.
