أصبح علي البليهي أكثر المدافعين تسجيلاً للأهداف في تاريخ الدوري السعودي للمحترفين، بعدما سجّل هدفين أمام الفتح، رافعاً رصيده إلى 22 هدفاً، ومتجاوزاً المدافع الجزائري فاروق شافعي، لاعب ضمك السابق، صاحب الـ21 هدفاً.
ودخل البليهي المواجهة وفي رصيده 20 هدفاً، قبل أن تحمله الثنائية إلى قمة هدافي المدافعين؛ إذ عادل بهدفه الأول رقم شافعي، ثم انفرد بالصدارة بهدفه الثاني، ليحوّل المباراة إلى محطة تاريخية في مسيرته.
وجاءت ثنائية البليهي ضمن انتصار الشباب على الفتح بنتيجة 3-1، ليجمع المدافع بين المساهمة في حصد النقاط الثلاث وتحقيق إنجازاً فردياً يضع اسمه في سجلات المسابقة.
وبين أدواره الدفاعية وحضوره أمام مرمى المنافسين، غادر البليهي مواجهة الفتح بمكسبين؛ انتصار لفريقه، ورقماً قياسياً بات يحمل اسمه بوصفه «المدافع الهداف» في تاريخ دوري المحترفين.
Ali Al-Bulaihi has become the highest-scoring defender in the history of the Saudi Professional League, after scoring two goals against Al-Fateh, raising his tally to 22 goals, surpassing the Algerian defender Farouk Shafai, the former player of Damak, who has 21 goals.
Al-Bulaihi entered the match with 20 goals, before his brace took him to the top of the defenders’ scoring chart; he equaled Shafai’s record with his first goal and then took the lead with his second goal, turning the match into a historic milestone in his career.
Al-Bulaihi’s brace came during Al-Shabab’s victory over Al-Fateh with a score of 3-1, allowing the defender to contribute to earning three points while achieving an individual accomplishment that places his name in the competition’s records.
Between his defensive roles and his presence in front of the opponents’ goal, Al-Bulaihi left the match against Al-Fateh with two gains; a victory for his team and a record that now bears his name as the “scoring defender” in the history of the Professional League.
