إلى حيث الحدث الديني الأضخم والرحلة الروحية التي يبدأها المسلمون من شتى أقطار الأرض لتنتهي بهم إزاء البيت العتيق، تتجه أنظار العالم في كل عام لتشهد نجاحاً آخر يضاف إلى نجاحات المملكة العربية السعودية في إدارة وتنظيم الزخم البشري الأعظم على النحو الذي يسدي للجموع طمأنينتها ويسهل أداءها لشعائرها.
بيد أن المشهد الإيماني المهيب الذي يُرى منتظماً ومنساباً يتجاوز أُطر الكفاءة الإدارية رغم فرادتها ليعكس رؤيةً تقدس الشعيرة وتدرك أثرها في وجدان المسلمين، ويبرهن على أن السعودية تتعاطى مع الحج وفق فهمٍ عميقٍ لمقاصد الشعيرة التي تؤصل التوحيد والعبودية المطلقة وتجسد وحدة الأمة، ولذلك فهي تكرس جهودها وطاقاتها وتتحول بكل مؤسساتها وإمكاناتها إلى يدٍ تمتد بحنو لتسهل أداء الحجيج مناسكهم.

ولذلك فإن من يتأمل المشهد المهيب لما يقارب مليوني حاج وهم يتنقلون بين المشاعر المقدسة ككتلةٍ بشريةٍ متصلةٍ، لَيشعرُ أن ما يحدث أقرب إلى معجزةٍ تنظيميةٍ وإداريةٍ تتكرر في كل عام ضمن مساحةٍ وزمنٍ محدودين، تمضي فيهما الجموع بانسيابيةٍ ممتطيةً شبكات الطرق العملاقة والجسور متعددة الطوابق وقطار المشاعر… وقد سخرت لخدمتهم الطواقم الأمنية والإسعافية وإدارة الحشود ومنظومات الذكاء الاصطناعي ومراكز الترجمة والخدمات البلدية والرقابة الغذائية… في منظومة عمل تتحرك كجسدٍ واحدٍ يتناغم إيقاعه وتطرد وتيرته مما يثير دهشة المتخصصين قبل العامة.
بيد أن الجانب بالغ الأهمية لا يكمن في ذلك فحسب بل يتجاوزه نحو العاطفة العميقة والمشاعر الجياشة التي تغمر بها المملكة الحجيج منذ لحظة وصولهم إلى منافذها الحدودية حتى مغادرتهم منتابين بالبهجة مغمورين بالفرح نظير ما وجدوا من حسن وفادة ورفيع عناية ورفقٍ ولينٍ واهتمامٍ وترحابٍ حتى ليخال الحاج منهم أنه لم يدخل بلداً آخر وإنما دلف فضاءً إنسانياً رحباً.
لقد انتقلت المملكة خلال السنوات الماضية بالحج من مفهوم الإدارة الموسمية إلى الصناعة المتكاملة التي تتضمن التطبيقات الذكية والخدمات الرقمية ومنصات التوجيه والتوسع في استخدام التقنيات الحديثة بدءاً من أتمتة عمليات التسجيل والفرز وإصدار التصاريح مروراً بإدارة الحشود الذكية وليس انتهاءً بالتفويج الإلكتروني، في خطواتٍ لم تكن ترفاً تقنياً بقدر ما هي يقينٌ بأن التكنولوجيا حين تسخر للإنسان تصبح شكلاً من أشكال الرحمة والعطاء، وإيماناً بأن الحج هو مرآة العالم الإسلامي، وأن نجاح المملكة في إدارته يتجاوز بعده المحلي ويتسع ليصبح إنجازاً حضارياً إسلامياً، ويُعرف كلقاءٍ يجمع أعراقاً ولغاتٍ وثقافاتٍ شتى بما تحمله من توتراتٍ سياسيةٍ وما يثقلها من حروبٍ وفقرٍ وانقساماتٍ ليذوبوا في مشهدٍ يحفظ التوازن الروحي للعالم الإسلامي.
ولذلك فإن جهود المملكة لم تتوقف عند حدود التوسعات العمرانية التاريخية رغم ضخامتها، بل تجاوزتها إلى تطوير مفهوم الاستضافة الآمنة الميسرة والرعاية الشاملة، فالمشاريع العملاقة في مكة المكرمة والمشاعر المقدسة لم تُبنَ لاستيعاب الأعداد المليونية فحسب وإنما لخلق بيئةٍ تنعم بالأمان والراحة والكرامة والطمأنينة، وباستدعاء الذاكرة لصور الحج قبل عقود ومقارنتها بما هو عليه اليوم، سيرى حجم التحول الذي صنعته المملكة في البنية والبيئة والتنظيم والرؤية.

However, the awe-inspiring faith scene that is seen organized and flowing transcends the frameworks of administrative efficiency, despite its uniqueness, to reflect a vision that sanctifies the ritual and recognizes its impact on the hearts of Muslims. It demonstrates that Saudi Arabia engages with the pilgrimage based on a deep understanding of the objectives of the ritual, which roots monotheism and absolute servitude and embodies the unity of the nation. Therefore, it dedicates its efforts and energies and transforms all its institutions and capabilities into a hand that extends with kindness to facilitate the performance of pilgrims’ rituals.

Therefore, anyone who contemplates the majestic scene of nearly two million pilgrims moving between the holy sites as a connected human mass will feel that what is happening is closer to an organizational and administrative miracle that recurs every year within a limited space and time, where the crowds move smoothly, utilizing the vast road networks, multi-level bridges, and the train of the holy sites… with security, medical, crowd management teams, artificial intelligence systems, translation centers, municipal services, and food monitoring systems dedicated to their service… in a system that operates as a single body, harmonizing its rhythm and pace, which astonishes specialists before the general public.
However, the extremely important aspect does not lie solely in that but transcends it towards the deep emotions and overwhelming feelings that the Kingdom envelops the pilgrims with from the moment they arrive at its border crossings until they depart, filled with joy and immersed in happiness due to the warm reception and high care, gentleness, and attention they receive, to the extent that the pilgrim feels as if they have not entered another country but rather stepped into a vast human space.
Over the past years, the Kingdom has transformed the pilgrimage from the concept of seasonal management to an integrated industry that includes smart applications, digital services, guidance platforms, and an expansion in the use of modern technologies, starting from automating registration, sorting, and issuing permits, through smart crowd management, and culminating in electronic crowd control. These steps were not a technical luxury but rather a certainty that when technology is harnessed for humanity, it becomes a form of mercy and giving, and a belief that the pilgrimage is a mirror of the Islamic world, and that the Kingdom’s success in managing it transcends its local dimension to become a civilizational Islamic achievement, recognized as a gathering that unites various ethnicities, languages, and cultures, carrying with them political tensions, wars, poverty, and divisions, dissolving into a scene that preserves the spiritual balance of the Islamic world.
Therefore, the Kingdom’s efforts have not stopped at the limits of historical urban expansions, despite their enormity, but have transcended them to develop the concept of safe and facilitated hosting and comprehensive care. The giant projects in Mecca and the holy sites were not built merely to accommodate millions but to create an environment that enjoys safety, comfort, dignity, and tranquility. By recalling the images of the pilgrimage decades ago and comparing them to what it is today, one can see the magnitude of the transformation that the Kingdom has made in structure, environment, organization, and vision.

When they begin to perform their rituals and cast their eyes around the holy sites, they realize that what unites the philosophy of organization and the majesty of the scene is that both are based on the concept that the pilgrimage is a gathering where humanity rises above its differences, and where mercy triumphs over the hardships of the road, as they both rest on the principle that caring for the Muslim individual is inherently a care for the sacred. The Kingdom excels in applying all of this without compromising its dignified voice with a condescending language.
