عقد وزير الصناعة والثروة المعدنية بندر بن إبراهيم الخريّف اجتماعاً ثنائياً مع الرئيس التنفيذي لصندوق الاستثمار المباشر الروسي (RDIF) كيريل ديميترييف، ناقشا خلاله فرص تعزيز الشراكة الاستثمارية بين المملكة وروسيا الاتحادية في عددٍ من القطاعات الصناعية ذات الاهتمام المشترك، وذلك على هامش مشاركته في منتدى سانت بطرسبرغ الاقتصادي الدولي 2026.
وأشاد الاجتماع بالعلاقات الاقتصادية المتنامية بين البلدين، والتي تفتح آفاقاً أوسع لتحفيز الاستثمارات المتبادلة في العديد من القطاعات الصناعية الواعدة، مؤكداً أهمية الانتقال من مرحلة استكشاف الفرص إلى العمل على مبادرات عملية قابلة للتنفيذ تحقق المصالح المشتركة للبلدين.
كما استعرض الاجتماع مستهدفات الإستراتيجية الوطنية للصناعة، والفرص النوعية التي تتيحها، والإمكانات المقدمة للمستثمرين، إلى جانب المزايا التنافسية التي تجعل المملكة وجهة جاذبة للاستثمارات العالمية.
وتعكس مشاركة المملكة في منتدى سانت بطرسبرغ الاقتصادي الدولي 2026 التزامها بتعزيز حضورها في المحافل الاقتصادية الدولية، وتطوير شراكات فاعلة تدعم النمو الصناعي والتعديني، وتفتح آفاقاً جديدة للتعاون والاستثمار.
The Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef, held a bilateral meeting with the CEO of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), Kirill Dmitriev, during which they discussed opportunities to enhance the investment partnership between the Kingdom and the Russian Federation in several industrial sectors of mutual interest, on the sidelines of his participation in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2026.
The meeting praised the growing economic relations between the two countries, which open broader horizons for stimulating mutual investments in many promising industrial sectors, emphasizing the importance of moving from the exploration phase of opportunities to working on practical and executable initiatives that achieve the common interests of both countries.
The meeting also reviewed the targets of the National Industrial Strategy, the qualitative opportunities it provides, the capabilities offered to investors, along with the competitive advantages that make the Kingdom an attractive destination for global investments.
The Kingdom’s participation in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2026 reflects its commitment to enhancing its presence in international economic forums, developing effective partnerships that support industrial and mining growth, and opening new horizons for cooperation and investment.
