نعت الرئاسة اليمنية، اليوم (الخميس)، الرئيس السابق المشير الركن عبد ربه منصور هادي، معلنة الحداد الرسمي وتنكيس الأعلام لمدة ثلاثة أيام، وفتح سجلات العزاء في الداخل والخارج، وفاء لسيرة الفقيد ومكانته الوطنية.
وقالت الرئاسة اليمنية في بيان إن الرئيس السابق وافته المنية اليوم، بعد حياة حافلة بالنضال والعطاء الوطني المخلص في خدمة وطنه وشعبه تقلد خلالها أرفع المسؤوليات العسكرية والسياسية، وجسد في محطات فاصلة من تاريخ اليمن المعاصر، نموذجاً لرجل الدولة الذي انحاز للجمهورية، والشرعية الدستورية، ووحدة اليمن، ومصلحة شعبه العليا في أشد الظروف والمنعطفات تعقيداً.
وأشارت إلى أنها تستحض، في هذا المصاب الجلل، الأدوار الوطنية للرئيس الراحل في قيادة المرحلة الانتقالية، وإسهامه في تحقيق انتقال سلمي للسلطة جنّب اليمن الانزلاق إلى صراعات أوسع، في مرحلة بالغة الحساسية، فضلاً عن رعايته المسؤولة لمؤتمر الحوار الوطني الشامل، بوصفه إحدى أهم المحطات السياسية الجامعة التي توافق عليها اليمنيون لبناء دولة اتحادية عادلة، قائمة على الشراكة، والمواطنة المتساوية، وسيادة القانون، وصون الحقوق والحريات.
وأشارت إلى أنها تستذكر له قيادته للدولة مواقفه في الدفاع عن وحدة اليمن وسيادته وسلامة أراضيه، وردع الانقلاب على مؤسسات الدولة والثوابت الوطنية، وموقفه الوطني الثابت في مواجهة المشروع الهدامة، وحرصه على حماية هوية اليمن العربية، وصون قراره الوطني المستقل، وتمسكه بالمرجعيات الوطنية والإقليمية والدولية، وحق اليمنيين في استعادة دولتهم ومؤسساتهم، وإنهاء الانقلاب الحوثي، وتحقيق السلام العادل والشامل.
ونوهت الرئاسة اليمنية، بالقيادة الحكيمة للرئيس عبدربه منصور هادي، الذي قاد الدولة اليمنية في واحدة من أعقد المراحل التي مرت بها البلاد، في ظل حرب وانقلاب، وأزمات إنسانية واقتصادية غير مسبوقة، واستطاع خلالها الحفاظ على الاعتراف الإقليمي والدولي بالدولة اليمنية ومؤسساتها الشرعية، وظل حريصاً على تغليب المصلحة الوطنية، وصولاً إلى إعلانه نقل السلطة ضمن توافق وطني مسؤول، وتشكيل مجلس القيادة الرئاسي في العام 2022، حرصاً منه على توحيد الصف الوطني وتعزيز جهود استعادة مؤسسات الدولة وإنهاء معاناة الشعب اليمني.
وأعربت رئاسة الجمهورية عن بالغ التقدير للمواقف الأخوية الصادقة التي جسدتها المملكة العربية السعودية الشقيقة، قيادةً وحكومةً وشعباً، تجاه الرئيس الراحل طوال سنوات إقامته فيها، وما أحاطته به وأسرته من رعاية ووفاء، وتقدير يليق بمكانته الوطنية ودوره القيادي، في موقف أخوي نبيل يعكس عمق العلاقات التاريخية والأخوية بين البلدين والشعبين الشقيقين.
وقالت الرئاسة إن إرث الرئيس عبدربه منصور هادي سيظل حاضراً في ذاكرة اليمنيين بما حمله من دروس في الصبر والحكمة وتغليب المصلحة الوطنية، والوقوف إلى جانب تطلعات الشعب اليمني في الحرية والكرامة والدولة الجامعة التي لا تستأثر بها جماعة، ولا ترتهن لمشاريع العنف والطائفية والخراب العابرة للحدود.
وشددت الرئاسة بالقول:«بهذا المصاب الأليم، يتقدم رئيس مجلس القيادة الرئاسي، وإخوانه أعضاء المجلس، والحكومة، بخالص العزاء وصادق المواساة إلى أسرة الفقيد ورفاقه ومحبيه، وإلى الشعب اليمني كافة، سائلين الله العلي القدير أن يتغمده بواسع رحمته، ويسكنه فسيح جناته، وأن يجزيه خير الجزاء عما قدم لوطنه وشعبه، وأن يلهم أهله وذويه ومحبيه الصبر والسلوان».
The Yemeni presidency mourned today (Thursday) the former president, Marshal Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi, announcing an official period of mourning and the lowering of flags for three days, and opening condolence registers both domestically and abroad, in honor of the late president’s legacy and national stature.
The Yemeni presidency stated in a statement that the former president passed away today, after a life filled with struggle and sincere national service for his country and people, during which he held the highest military and political responsibilities, embodying in pivotal moments of contemporary Yemeni history, a model of a statesman who stood by the republic, constitutional legitimacy, the unity of Yemen, and the supreme interests of his people in the most complex circumstances and turning points.
It noted that it recalls, in this great loss, the national roles of the late president in leading the transitional phase and his contribution to achieving a peaceful transfer of power that spared Yemen from slipping into wider conflicts during a highly sensitive period, in addition to his responsible sponsorship of the Comprehensive National Dialogue Conference, as one of the most important political milestones agreed upon by Yemenis to build a fair federal state based on partnership, equal citizenship, the rule of law, and the protection of rights and freedoms.
It also recalled his leadership of the state, his positions in defending Yemen’s unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, deterring the coup against state institutions and national constants, his steadfast national stance in confronting destructive projects, his commitment to protecting Yemen’s Arab identity, preserving its independent national decision, and adhering to national, regional, and international references, as well as the right of Yemenis to restore their state and institutions, end the Houthi coup, and achieve just and comprehensive peace.
The Yemeni presidency praised the wise leadership of President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi, who led the Yemeni state through one of the most complex phases the country has faced, amid war, coup, and unprecedented humanitarian and economic crises, during which he managed to maintain regional and international recognition of the Yemeni state and its legitimate institutions, remaining keen on prioritizing national interests, culminating in his announcement of the transfer of power within a responsible national consensus and the formation of the Presidential Leadership Council in 2022, in his effort to unify the national ranks and enhance efforts to restore state institutions and alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people.
The presidency expressed its deep appreciation for the sincere fraternal positions embodied by the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, both leadership and government, as well as its people, towards the late president throughout his years of residence there, and the care and loyalty extended to him and his family, which is fitting for his national stature and leadership role, in a noble fraternal stance that reflects the depth of historical and brotherly relations between the two countries and their peoples.
The presidency stated that the legacy of President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi will remain present in the memory of Yemenis, carrying lessons in patience, wisdom, prioritizing national interests, and standing by the aspirations of the Yemeni people for freedom, dignity, and an inclusive state that is not monopolized by any group, nor beholden to transnational projects of violence, sectarianism, and destruction.
The presidency emphasized: “In this painful loss, the President of the Presidential Leadership Council, along with his fellow council members and the government, extend their heartfelt condolences and sincere sympathy to the family of the deceased, his comrades, and his loved ones, and to the entire Yemeni people, asking Allah the Almighty to envelop him in His vast mercy, grant him a place in His spacious gardens, and reward him abundantly for what he has offered to his country and people, and to inspire his family, relatives, and loved ones with patience and solace.”
