يستضيف فريق الزمالك غريمه التقليدي الأهلي في قمة نارية اليوم (الجمعة)، في الثامنة مساءً، على ملعب استاد القاهرة الدولي، ضمن منافسات الجولة الخامسة من المرحلة النهائية لحسم لقب الدوري المصري الممتاز.
الزمالك يستهدف ملامسة اللقب
ويستهدف الزمالك، بقيادة مدربه معتمد جمال، حصد نقاط «ديربي القاهرة» والاقتراب من حسم لقب الدوري للمرة الـ15 في تاريخه، إذ يحتاج إلى الفوز في مباراتين من أصل ثلاث لحصد اللقب رسمياً.
وكان الزمالك قد أهدر نقطتين بالتعادل مع إنبي في الجولة الماضية، ما يزيد من أهمية لقاء اليوم، إذ يتصدر جدول الترتيب بـ50 نقطة، بفارق 3 نقاط عن بيراميدز الوصيف، و6 نقاط عن الأهلي صاحب المركز الثالث.
ورغم الأزمة المالية الطاحنة التي يعيشها الزمالك، ومنعه من قبل الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم (فيفا) بسبب 15 حكماً بتغريمه مالياً لصالح لاعبين ومدربين سابقين وأندية، إلا أنه يتفوق محلياً وقارياً باعتلاء قمة الدوري المحلي والتأهل إلى نهائي الكونفدرالية.
الأهلي يسعى لمداواة جراحه
على الجانب الآخر، يدخل الأهلي، بقيادة مديره الفني الدنماركي ييس توروب، لقاء الديربي تحت شعار «لا بديل عن الفوز»، لمصالحة جماهيره الغاضبة بعد الخسارة الثقيلة أمام بيراميدز بثلاثية نظيفة في الجولة الماضية.
وابتعد الأهلي عن المنافسة على اللقب بعد الخسارة الأخيرة، إذ يتعين عليه الفوز في مبارياته الثلاث المتبقية، أملاً في حجز مقعد في دوري أبطال أفريقيا الموسم المقبل.
ويقدم الأهلي موسماً كارثياً تحت قيادة توروب، بعدما ودّع بطولتي كأس الرابطة وكأس مصر مبكراً، إلى جانب الخروج من دوري أبطال أفريقيا من الدور ربع النهائي على يد الترجي التونسي.

Zamalek Aims to Touch the Title
Zamalek, led by coach Moataz Gamal, aims to secure points in the “Cairo Derby” and get closer to clinching the title for the 15th time in its history, as it needs to win two out of three matches to officially claim the title.
Zamalek had dropped two points by drawing with Enppi in the last round, which increases the importance of today’s match, as it tops the standings with 50 points, three points ahead of second-placed Pyramids, and six points ahead of third-placed Al-Ahly.
Despite the severe financial crisis that Zamalek is experiencing, which has led to a ban from FIFA due to 15 rulings imposing financial penalties in favor of former players, coaches, and clubs, it still excels locally and continentally by leading the local league and qualifying for the Confederation Cup final.
Al-Ahly Seeks to Heal Its Wounds
On the other hand, Al-Ahly, led by its Danish coach Yes Torup, enters the derby match under the slogan “Victory is a Must,” aiming to appease its angry fans after the heavy loss to Pyramids with a score of 3-0 in the last round.
Al-Ahly has distanced itself from the title race after the recent loss, as it must win its remaining three matches in hopes of securing a spot in the African Champions League next season.
Al-Ahly is having a disastrous season under Torup, having exited both the League Cup and the Egypt Cup early, in addition to being eliminated from the African Champions League in the quarter-finals at the hands of Tunisian club Esperance.
