كشف التقرير الصادر عن هيئة السوق المالية أن عدد المستثمرين الأفراد في الشركات المدرجة بسوق الأسهم السعودية بنهاية الربع الأول 2026 بلغ نحو 7.28 مليون مستثمر، بارتفاع 520 ألف مستثمر على أساس سنوي.
ووفقاً للتقرير، فإن عدد المستثمرين الذكور نحو 5.45 مليون مستثمر، فيما بلغ عدد المستثمرات من الإناث 1.84 مليون، وبلغ عدد المحافظ الاستثمارية للأفراد بنهاية الربع الأول 2026 نحو 14.86 مليون محفظة.
ويشير عدد المحافظ الاستثمارية، الذي يبلغ أكثر من ضعف عدد المستثمرين، إلى امتلاك بعض المستثمرين أكثر من محفظة استثمار.
كبار المستثمرين والمتخصصين
وتعرِّف هيئة السوق المالية كبار المستثمرين الأفراد بالفرد السعودي الذي يمتلك محفظة متوسط حجمها مليون ريال فأكثر خلال الـ12 شهرًا الأخيرة، ويُستثنى من ذلك المستثمرون الأفراد المتخصصون.
وتعرِّف المستثمرين الأفراد المتخصصين بالفرد السعودي الذي يبلغ متوسط حجم محفظته 50 مليون ريال فأكثر خلال الـ12 شهرًا الأخيرة، ومعدل تدوير محفظته الاستثمارية لا يتجاوز 4 مرات سنويًا.
ملكية «الحكومية» والشركات والأجانب
وشكّلت ملكية الجهات الحكومية في الشركات المدرجة نحو 65% من القيمة الإجمالية للسوق، حيث بلغت نحو 6,418.2 مليار ريال بنهاية الربع الأول 2026، مرتفعة بنسبة 1% مقارنة بالفترة نفسها من العام 2025.
وبلغت ملكية الشركات السعودية نحو 1.655 مليار ريال منخفضة بنسبة 6%، وبلغت ملكية الصناديق الاستثمارية نحو 293.2 مليار ريال بنهاية الربع الأول 2026.
وبخصوص ملكية المستثمرين الأجانب المؤهلين للاستثمار في السوق المالية السعودية، وفقًا للقواعد المنظمة لاستثمار المؤسسات المالية الأجنبية المؤهلة في الأسهم المدرجة، فقد بلغت نحو 382.9 مليار ريال بنهاية الربع الأول 2026، بارتفاع 10%.
The report issued by the Capital Market Authority revealed that the number of individual investors in listed companies on the Saudi stock market reached approximately 7.28 million investors by the end of the first quarter of 2026, an increase of 520,000 investors year-on-year.
According to the report, the number of male investors is approximately 5.45 million, while the number of female investors reached 1.84 million, and the number of individual investment portfolios by the end of the first quarter of 2026 was around 14.86 million portfolios.
The number of investment portfolios, which is more than double the number of investors, indicates that some investors own more than one investment portfolio.
Major Investors and Specialists
The Capital Market Authority defines major individual investors as Saudi individuals who own a portfolio with an average size of one million riyals or more over the last 12 months, excluding specialized individual investors.
Specialized individual investors are defined as Saudi individuals whose average portfolio size is 50 million riyals or more over the last 12 months, with a portfolio turnover rate not exceeding 4 times annually.
Ownership by Government, Companies, and Foreigners
Government ownership in listed companies constituted about 65% of the total market value, amounting to approximately 6,418.2 billion riyals by the end of the first quarter of 2026, an increase of 1% compared to the same period in 2025.
Saudi companies owned approximately 1.655 billion riyals, a decrease of 6%, and investment funds owned about 293.2 billion riyals by the end of the first quarter of 2026.
Regarding the ownership of qualified foreign investors in the Saudi financial market, according to the regulations governing the investment of qualified foreign financial institutions in listed shares, it reached approximately 382.9 billion riyals by the end of the first quarter of 2026, an increase of 10%.
