افتتح وكيل وزارة الصناعة والثروة المعدنية للتطوير الصناعي المهندس عبدالعزيز الأحمدي، اليوم (الإثنين)، أعمال «مؤتمر سلاسل الإمداد والمشتريات 2026»، في نسخته الثانية، تحت شعار «سلاسل إمداد مرنة.. لمستقبل مستدام»، بحضور ومشاركة عدد من المتخصصين في الاقتصاد والصناعة من كبار المسؤولين والتنفيذيين والشركاء محلياً ودولياً.
وألقى الأحمدي كلمة وزير الصناعة التي أكد خلالها أن الأحداث العالمية المتتالية أثبتت أن سلاسل الإمداد لم تعد مجرد مهمة تشغيلية اعتيادية، بل تحولت إلى ركيزة إستراتيجية كبرى للأمن الاقتصادي والتنمية الصناعية، ومحرّك أساسي لجذب الاستثمارات وتوطين الصناعة، مشيراً إلى أن المملكة وضعت مرونة سلاسل الإمداد على رأس أولوياتها تماشياً مع رؤية المملكة 2030 ومستهدفات الإستراتيجيات الوطنية، خصوصاً الإستراتيجية الوطنية للصناعة، والإستراتيجية الوطنية للنقل والخدمات اللوجستية، لترسيخ مكانة المملكة مركزاً صناعياً ولوجستياً عالمياً يربط قارات العالم الثلاث.
واستعرض الأحمدي المزايا التنافسية والمقومات الإستراتيجية للمملكة، وفي مقدمتها الموقع الجغرافي المتميز، والبنية التحتية المتطورة عبر أكثر من 40 مدينة صناعية، وتكامل شبكات الربط، والبيئة الاستثمارية المتقدمة المدعومة بحوافز جاذبة منها «برنامج الحوافز المعيارية للقطاع الصناعي»، مبيناً أن القاعدة الصناعية الصلبة للمملكة في القطاعات الصناعية أثبتت جدارتها في تقليص أثر الاضطرابات اللوجستية العالمية على الصناعة الوطنية.
بدوره، أكد رئيس مجلس إدارة جمعية سلاسل الإمداد والمشتريات صالح الشبنان أن المؤتمر ينعقد في وقت تشهد فيه سلاسل الإمداد العالمية إعادة تشكيل واسعة نتيجة الاضطرابات الجيوسياسية والتقنية والاقتصادية؛ مما يجعل المرونة والجاهزية ضرورة أمنية واقتصادية إستراتيجية.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources for Industrial Development, Engineer Abdulaziz Al-Ahmadi, today (Monday) inaugurated the activities of the “Supply Chain and Procurement Conference 2026,” in its second edition, under the slogan “Flexible Supply Chains for a Sustainable Future,” with the attendance and participation of a number of specialists in economics and industry from senior officials, executives, and partners locally and internationally.
Al-Ahmadi delivered the speech of the Minister of Industry, during which he emphasized that the successive global events have proven that supply chains are no longer just a routine operational task, but have transformed into a major strategic pillar for economic security and industrial development, and a key driver for attracting investments and localizing industry. He pointed out that the Kingdom has placed the flexibility of supply chains at the top of its priorities in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 and the objectives of national strategies, particularly the National Industrial Strategy and the National Transport and Logistics Strategy, to establish the Kingdom’s position as a global industrial and logistics hub connecting the three continents of the world.
Al-Ahmadi reviewed the competitive advantages and strategic components of the Kingdom, foremost among them being its distinguished geographical location, advanced infrastructure across more than 40 industrial cities, integrated connectivity networks, and the advanced investment environment supported by attractive incentives, including the “Standard Incentives Program for the Industrial Sector,” indicating that the solid industrial base of the Kingdom in industrial sectors has proven its effectiveness in mitigating the impact of global logistical disruptions on the national industry.
For his part, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Supply Chain and Procurement Association, Saleh Al-Shabnan, confirmed that the conference is being held at a time when global supply chains are undergoing significant reshaping due to geopolitical, technological, and economic disruptions; making flexibility and readiness a strategic economic and security necessity.
