
أعلنت الهيئة العامة للطيران المدني وفاة 12 شخصاً وإصابة 309 آخرين، بينهم حالات حرجة، جراء الاعتداء الذي استهدف مطار الملك خالد الدولي بالرياض عصر أمس (السبت) 10 أكتوبر 2026.
وأوضحت الهيئة، في بيان إلحاقي أصدرته اليوم (الأحد)، أن المتوفين بينهم 4 مواطنين سعوديين، و8 مقيمين من جنسيات مختلفة، بواقع مقيمين اثنين من الجنسية البنغلاديشية، ومقيم واحد من كل من الجنسيات الأمريكية والمصرية والأردنية والسورية والفلسطينية والسودانية.
وأضافت أن الاعتداء أسفر كذلك عن إصابة 309 أشخاص، يتلقون الرعاية الصحية اللازمة في عدد من المستشفيات، مشيرةً إلى وجود إصابات حرجة بين المصابين.
وأكدت الهيئة أن الاعتداء تسبب في أضرار مادية يجري العمل على حصرها، سائلةً الله الرحمة للمتوفين والشفاء العاجل للمصابين.
وكانت الهيئة العامة للطيران المدني قد أعلنت في بيان سابق تعرض مطار الملك خالد الدولي للاعتداء عصر السبت، وتعليق العمليات التشغيلية في المطار مؤقتاً، لحين استكمال تقييم الأضرار والتحقق من سلامة المرافق، بالتنسيق مع الجهات المختصة.
The General Authority of Civil Aviation announced the death of 12 people and the injury of 309 others, including critical cases, due to the attack that targeted King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh yesterday afternoon (Saturday, October 10, 2026).
The authority clarified, in a follow-up statement issued today (Sunday), that among the deceased were 4 Saudi citizens and 8 residents of various nationalities, including two residents of Bangladeshi nationality, and one resident each from American, Egyptian, Jordanian, Syrian, Palestinian, and Sudanese nationalities.
It added that the attack also resulted in the injury of 309 people, who are receiving necessary healthcare in several hospitals, noting that there are critical injuries among the victims.
The authority confirmed that the attack caused material damages that are currently being assessed, praying for mercy for the deceased and a speedy recovery for the injured.
The General Authority of Civil Aviation had previously announced in a statement that King Khalid International Airport was attacked on Saturday afternoon, and that operational activities at the airport were temporarily suspended until the damage assessment is completed and the safety of the facilities is verified, in coordination with the relevant authorities.
