دعا رئيس مجلس القيادة الرئاسي اليمني الدكتور رشاد العليمي اليوم (الخميس)، مختلف القوى اليمنية إلى فتح صفحة جديدة عنوانها الإنصاف والشراكة والدولة العادلة والسلام والتنمية، وجعل ذكرى الوحدة اليمنية محطة جديدة لاستعادة الثقة، وتجديد العهد، وتوحيد الجهود.
وقال العليمي في خطاب بمناسبة الذكرى الـ٣٦ لوحدة اليمن الذي يصادف لـ22 من مايو: «اليمن اليوم يقف عند لحظة فارقة من تاريخه الحديث، لحظة تتطلب منا جميعاً شجاعة قول الحقيقة، لا الهروب منها، وشجاعة الإنصاف، لا المكابرة، وشجاعة بناء المستقبل، لا البقاء أسرى لجراح الماضي، وصراعاته»، مؤكداً أن الوحدة اليمنية، كانت بالنسبة للأجيال المتعاقبة، حلماً عظيماً، ومشروعاً وطنياً وإنسانياً نبيلاً، حمله أبناء الجنوب والشمال معاً، بصدق وإيمان، باعتباره طريقا نحو دولة المؤسسات والعدالة والشراكة، والمواطنة المتساوية.
وأشار إلى أن مشروع الوحدة تعرض للانحراف الخطير التي أنتجت مظالم عميقة بدءاً من الإقصاء والتهميش، ووصولاً إلى الإضرار بالشراكة الوطنية التي قامت عليها الوحدة في الأساس، مجدداً التأكيد على ضرورة إنصاف القضية الجنوبية، وجبر الضرر، ومعالجة آثار الماضي، وضمان الشراكة العادلة في السلطة والثروة، وتمكين جميع اليمنيين في ظروف طبيعية من التعبير الحر عن تطلعاتهم، وتقرير مستقبلهم السياسي والاقتصادي والثقافي، مبيناً أن ذلك سيظل التزاماً ثابتاً لا رجعة عنه.
واعتبر رئيس مجلس القيادة الرئاسي القضية الجنوبية جوهر أي تسوية عادلة، وأحد المفاتيح الرئيسية لبناء سلام مستدام ودولة مستقرة، مستعرضاً ما شهدته المحافظات الجنوبية والشرقية من منعطف أمني وسياسي خطير، كاد يهدد مركز الدولة القانوني، ويقوّض أسس الأمن الوطني، والقومي.
وقال العليمي: بكثير من الحزم والحكمة، وبمساعدة صادقة من الأشقاء في المملكة العربية السعودية، تم تجنيب بلادنا مسارات الفتنة والتشظي، والحفاظ على وحدة الوطن، وصون تماسك الجبهة الداخلية في مواجهة التهديد الانقلابي الحوثي.
ولفت إلى أن حل القضية الجنوبية تحت سقف الدولة، يمثل ركيزة أساسية للتماسك الوطني، وشرطاً للصمود واستكمال معركة التحرير، وتحقيق السلام الشامل والدائم.
وشدد بالقول: «لا منتصر في صراعات أهلية، ولا رابح في خلافات شركاء الهدف والمصير»، موجهاً الجهات المختصة باتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية اللازمة لمراجعة وإسقاط أوامر التوقيف والملاحقات المرتبطة بالأحداث الأخيرة في بعض المحافظات الجنوبية، بحق الشخصيات السياسية والمدنية التي لم يثبت تورطها في جرائم إرهابية، أو أعمال عنف، أو قضايا فساد، أو انتهاكات جسيمة، أو أفعال تمس أمن الدولة ومركزها القانوني.
وأشار إلى أن باب اليمن يتسع لكل أبنائه، وبابه مفتوح لكل من يعود إلى صف الدولة والقانون، داعياً لسرعة إعادة جميع الأسلحة والذخائر والمعدّات العسكرية التي تم الاستيلاء عليها خلال الأحداث الأخيرة، وتسليمها للدولة.
وأكد رئيس مجلس القيادة الرئاسي اليمني على أولوية تعزيز العلاقة مع المملكة العربية السعودية، ونقلها من مستوى التحالف الوثيق إلى الشراكة الإستراتيجية الشاملة، والاندماج التدريجي للجمهورية اليمنية في المنظومة الخليجية، والمضي في توحيد القرار الأمني والعسكري، وتعزيز جهود مكافحة الإرهاب والتهريب والجريمة المنظمة، وتجفيف منابعها ومصادر تمويلها، إضافة الى تعزيز دور السلطات المحلية، وتمكينها من كامل صلاحياتها، بالتكامل والتنسيق الوثيق مع الحكومة المركزية، وأجهزة الدولة العليا.
The President of the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council, Dr. Rashad Al-Alimi, today (Thursday), called on various Yemeni forces to open a new chapter titled fairness, partnership, a just state, peace, and development, and to make the anniversary of Yemeni unity a new station for restoring trust, renewing the covenant, and unifying efforts.
Al-Alimi said in a speech on the occasion of the 36th anniversary of Yemeni unity, which falls on May 22: “Yemen today stands at a pivotal moment in its modern history, a moment that requires all of us the courage to speak the truth, not to escape from it, the courage of fairness, not arrogance, and the courage to build the future, not to remain prisoners of the wounds of the past and its conflicts,” emphasizing that Yemeni unity was, for successive generations, a great dream and a noble national and humanitarian project, carried by the people of the south and the north together, with sincerity and faith, as a path towards a state of institutions, justice, partnership, and equal citizenship.
He pointed out that the unity project has faced serious deviations that produced deep injustices, starting from exclusion and marginalization, reaching to harming the national partnership on which unity was fundamentally based, reiterating the necessity of addressing the southern issue, compensating for damages, addressing the effects of the past, ensuring fair partnership in power and wealth, and enabling all Yemenis, under normal conditions, to freely express their aspirations and determine their political, economic, and cultural future, indicating that this will remain a steadfast commitment with no turning back.
Al-Alimi considered the southern issue the essence of any fair settlement and one of the main keys to building sustainable peace and a stable state, reviewing what the southern and eastern governorates have witnessed in terms of a dangerous security and political turning point that nearly threatened the legal status of the state and undermined the foundations of national and regional security.
He said: With much firmness and wisdom, and with sincere assistance from our brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, our country has been spared the paths of sedition and fragmentation, preserving the unity of the homeland and maintaining the cohesion of the internal front in the face of the Houthi coup threat.
He pointed out that resolving the southern issue under the umbrella of the state represents a fundamental pillar for national cohesion and a condition for steadfastness and completing the liberation battle, achieving comprehensive and lasting peace.
He emphasized by saying: “There are no winners in civil conflicts, nor any gainers in disputes among partners in goal and destiny,” directing the relevant authorities to take the necessary legal measures to review and drop arrest warrants and prosecutions related to recent events in some southern governorates against political and civil figures who have not been proven to be involved in terrorist crimes, acts of violence, corruption cases, serious violations, or actions that affect the security of the state and its legal status.
He indicated that the door of Yemen is wide open for all its sons, and it is open to anyone who returns to the ranks of the state and the law, calling for the swift return of all weapons, ammunition, and military equipment that were seized during recent events, and handing them over to the state.
The President of the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council affirmed the priority of strengthening the relationship with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, moving it from a close alliance to a comprehensive strategic partnership, and the gradual integration of the Republic of Yemen into the Gulf system, proceeding with the unification of security and military decisions, enhancing efforts to combat terrorism, smuggling, and organized crime, and drying up its sources and funding, in addition to strengthening the role of local authorities and empowering them with full powers, in close integration and coordination with the central government and the higher state institutions.
