أعلن المجلس الأعلى لتنظيم الإعلام في مصر اتخاذ إجراءات تأديبية بحق الإعلامي المصري محمد الغيطي، تضمنت إيقافه عن الظهور الإعلامي لمدة شهر كامل، ومنعه من ممارسة أي نشاط يتعلق بتقديم البرامج خلال هذه الفترة.
مراجعة المحتوى الإعلامي
وجاءت العقوبة بعد فحص ومراجعة إحدى حلقات برنامج «البصمة» الذي يعرض على إحدى القنوات المصرية، حيث تناولت الحلقة محتوى مسيئا بشأن الفنان المصري الراحل عبدالعزيز مخيون، أثارت اهتمام الرأي العام خلال الأيام الماضية.
مخالفات مهنية
وأوضح المجلس أن القرار استند إلى نتائج المتابعة والرصد التي أجرتها الجهات المختصة، والتي رأت أن الحلقة تضمنت مخالفات لا تتوافق مع الضوابط المهنية والمعايير المنظمة للعمل الإعلامي.
كما شدد المجلس على ضرورة التزام جميع القنوات والمنصات الإعلامية والصحف والمواقع الإلكترونية بتنفيذ القرار، وعدم إتاحة أي ظهور إعلامي لمحمد الغيطي طوال مدة الإيقاف المقررة.
حذف الحلقة مؤقتاً
وكان المجلس أصدر سابقاً توجيهًا للقناة بوقف تداول الحلقة وإزالتها مؤقتًا من مختلف المنصات الإلكترونية وصفحات التواصل الاجتماعي التابعة لها إلى حين الانتهاء من مراجعتها بشكل كامل.
The Supreme Council for Media Regulation in Egypt announced disciplinary actions against the Egyptian media figure Mohamed Al-Ghaiti, which included suspending him from media appearances for a full month and prohibiting him from engaging in any activities related to program hosting during this period.
Review of Media Content
The penalty came after examining and reviewing an episode of the program “Al-Basma,” which airs on one of the Egyptian channels, where the episode contained offensive content regarding the late Egyptian artist Abdelaziz Makhioun, which attracted public attention in recent days.
Professional Violations
The council clarified that the decision was based on the results of monitoring and oversight conducted by the relevant authorities, which found that the episode included violations that do not comply with professional standards and regulations governing media work.
The council also emphasized the necessity for all channels, media platforms, newspapers, and websites to implement the decision and not to allow any media appearances for Mohamed Al-Ghaiti throughout the duration of the imposed suspension.
Temporary Removal of the Episode
The council had previously issued a directive to the channel to halt the circulation of the episode and temporarily remove it from various electronic platforms and its associated social media pages until a complete review is finalized.
