أعلن نادي أياكس أمستردام الهولندي، أمس (الثلاثاء)، تعاقده مع المدرب الإسباني ميغيل أنخيل سانشيز مونيوز، المعروف باسم ميشيل، لقيادة الفريق الأول لكرة القدم.
بيان التعاقد
وقال النادي في بيان: «توصل أياكس إلى اتفاق مع المدرب ميشيل لتدريب الفريق، إذ وقع عقداً يمتد حتى 30 يونيو 2028، على أن يتم الإعلان عن تفاصيل إضافية تتعلق بتشكيلة الجهاز الفني الجديد فور الانتهاء من وضع اللمسات الأخيرة عليها».
مسيرة ميشيل التدريبية
وبدأ ميشيل مسيرته التدريبية مع نادي رايو فاليكانو، حيث أمضى موسمين على رأس الجهاز الفني للفريق قبل انتقاله إلى نادي هويسكا صيف 2019.
وخلال المواسم الخمسة الماضية، تولى قيادة جيرونا، حيث حقق معه أفضل مركز في تاريخ النادي، إذ قاده إلى المركز الثالث في الدوري الإسباني (لا ليغا) خلال موسم 2023/2024، لكنه فشل في إنقاذه من الهبوط في الدوري الإسباني هذا الموسم.
أول تعليق من ميشيل
من جانبه، قال ميشيل: «شعور رائع أن أكون هنا؛ أنا فخور باتخاذ هذه الخطوة التالية في مسيرتي، أياكس اسم كبير في أوروبا، نادٍ لطالما أنجب لاعبين شباب موهوبين».
وأضاف: «يعرفني المدير الرياضي جوردي كرويف من عملي في إسبانيا، وقد تحدثنا معاً عن فلسفة النادي، وعن أسلوب عملي وكيف يتناسب ذلك مع رؤيتي، لقد أبدى ثقته الكاملة بي، ومع بقية أعضاء النادي، نبدأ تحدياً جديداً، هدفنا هو إعادة أياكس إلى مكانته الطبيعية، وأنا على ثقة تامة بأننا سننجح».
موسم مُخيب
واحتل أياكس المركز الخامس في الدوري الهولندي موسم 2025-2026، ليضمن مقعداً في دوري المؤتمر الأوروبي عبر الملحق، بعد موسم مخيب للآمال.
The Dutch club Ajax Amsterdam announced yesterday (Tuesday) that it has signed Spanish coach Miguel Ángel Sánchez Muñoz, known as Michel, to lead the first team in football.
Contract Statement
The club stated in a statement: “Ajax has reached an agreement with coach Michel to train the team, having signed a contract that extends until June 30, 2028, with additional details regarding the new coaching staff to be announced once the final touches are completed.”
Michel’s Coaching Career
Michel began his coaching career with Rayo Vallecano, where he spent two seasons at the helm before moving to Huesca in the summer of 2019.
During the past five seasons, he led Girona, achieving the best position in the club’s history by guiding them to third place in La Liga during the 2023/2024 season, but he failed to save them from relegation in the Spanish league this season.
First Comment from Michel
For his part, Michel said: “It feels great to be here; I am proud to take this next step in my career. Ajax is a big name in Europe, a club that has always produced talented young players.”
He added: “The sporting director Jordi Cruyff knows me from my work in Spain, and we talked together about the club’s philosophy, about my working style and how it fits with my vision. He expressed his full confidence in me, and with the rest of the club members, we are starting a new challenge. Our goal is to restore Ajax to its rightful place, and I am fully confident that we will succeed.”
Disappointing Season
Ajax finished fifth in the Dutch league for the 2025-2026 season, securing a spot in the UEFA Europa Conference League through the playoffs, after a disappointing season.
