لم يكن يدور في خلد المدعوين لحفل زفاف أقيم بالعاصمة الماليزية كوالالمبور، أن برنامج الحفل السعيد سيشهد فقرة غير مجدولة تحبس الأنفاس؛ حيث تحولت أجواء الفرح والبهجة فجأة إلى حالة من الذهول والترقب، إثر إعلان طارئ عبر مكبرات الصوت عن وجود «زائر وثيق الصلة بالخطر» اختار الاختباء في مكان لا يخطر على بال.
فبينما كان ضيوف حفل الزفاف المقام في فندق «يو تي إم» (UTM) يستمتعون بالأجواء، قاطع مقدم الحفل الموسيقى ليوجه نداءً عاجلاً عبر الميكروفون، مستدعياً أحد الحضور باسمه ورقم لوحة سيارته، طالباً منه التوجه فوراً إلى مواقف الفندق لـ«أمر خطير».
النداء العاجل جاء بعد لفتة نباهة من حارس أمن الفندق، الذي رصد ثعباناً ضخماً من فصيلة «الأصلة» (البايثون) وهو يتسلل بهدوء ويزحف مخترقاً الهيكل السفلي للسيارة، ليستقر داخل حجرة المحرك، مستغلاً حرارتها ودفئها كملجأ مثالي للاختباء.
وفور سماعه الإعلان، هرع صاحب المركبة مصحوباً بفضول عدد من المدعوين إلى ساحة المواقف؛ ليجدوا المشهد حقيقياً وصادماً؛ حيث كان الثعبان قد التف بإحكام شديد وتغلغل بين التوصيلات الميكانيكية المعقدة للمحرك.
وأمام هذا المأزق، استُدعيت فرق «قوات الدفاع المدني الماليزية» (APM)، التي وصلت إلى الموقع مجهزة بمعدات خاصة للتعامل مع الزواحف الضخمة. وباحترافية عالية، خاض رجال الإنقاذ مواجهة دقيقة لفك حصار الثعبان دون إيذائه، وتمكنوا في النهاية من سحبه بأمان وإخراجه من جوف السيارة دون وقوع أي إصابات بين الحضور أو أضرار تذكر بالمركبة.
The guests at a wedding held in the Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur, never imagined that the joyful event would witness a breathtaking unscheduled segment; as the atmosphere of happiness and joy suddenly turned into a state of shock and anticipation, following an urgent announcement over the loudspeakers about the presence of a “visitor closely related to danger” who chose to hide in an unexpected place.
While the guests at the wedding held at the “UTM” hotel were enjoying the atmosphere, the event’s host interrupted the music to make an urgent call over the microphone, summoning one of the attendees by name and car plate number, asking him to head immediately to the hotel parking for a “serious matter.”
The urgent call came after a vigilant gesture from a hotel security guard, who spotted a huge python sneaking quietly and slithering into the undercarriage of a car, settling inside the engine compartment, taking advantage of its heat and warmth as an ideal hiding place.
Upon hearing the announcement, the owner of the vehicle rushed, accompanied by the curiosity of several guests, to the parking area; only to find the scene real and shocking; as the snake had coiled tightly and intertwined among the complex mechanical connections of the engine.
In light of this predicament, teams from the “Malaysian Civil Defense Forces” (APM) were summoned, arriving at the site equipped with special tools to handle large reptiles. With high professionalism, the rescue personnel engaged in a delicate operation to free the snake without harming it, and they ultimately succeeded in safely pulling it out from the vehicle’s interior without any injuries among the attendees or significant damage to the car.
